€50 Bank - 100 bets @ 1.05 - Can this be done?

As the title suggests above..... Can this be done?! Like every naive compound calculating fool before me, I have worked it out that 100 successful bets @ 1.05 with a starting bank of €50 will get me to €6.5k Which sports? Which markets? I'm thinking of a variety approach, try different sports and markets and hope I don't get hit with a bullet too soon!

Re: €50 Bank - 100 bets @ 1.05 - Can this be done? Ofcourse it can be done. There are lots of people on here like Skittles who have done very well with consecutive low odds bets (over 300!). It's up to you what you want to bet on - its your money! Most people have sucess with laying correct scores in football at low odds on BetFair. Others try Over 0.5 goals in football matches which has a slightly bigger risk but still very low odds. Either way, you should get some way at least towards that target if disciplined and you don't get tempted with bigger prices. :hope

I find the best market is double chance in football, where there is already a clear favourite, as if they have an off day, they more often draw rather than lose. Obviously it's nowhere near foolproof, but I find it a useful simple system for a little fun. Good luck :ok

Seriously, the odds margins are ridiculous and many of the 1.01 to 1.08`s in stuff like basketball etc with normal bookies inplay should be nearer 1.25/1.30, they get turned over day after day. In an ideal world, stick to something you know about and take your time. In my very honest opinion, the easiest route to do this is to lay 1 -2 horses per day at around the 25 mark, choosing the right shaped races helps enormously. Ive had huge success over the years laying horse, lack of discipline always let me down though, as id try to bet in every race, or take silly chances. Other than that, correct scores are a great way to go, but at 1.05, your looking to lay scores at 20, and the odds are boosted on Betfair, where the 20s you can lay are usually around 10 at the bookies, and youve a big chance of hitting one. Me personaly id go for laying horses or football scores between 75-100, and be choosy, give myself limits of bets per day, and try to stick to that.

I often try to work these things out, but fail miserably. There`s a formula that people use, but im dammed if I can use it. My glorious maths days are behind me.

Unfortunately many will go at it half cocked and fail miserably in the early stages. Sorry to be casting a cloud, but that really is the reality of it all. Just look at the failed attempts on all sorts of forums over the years and you'll see the amount of success is extremely limited. You need something extra to make it work, find it and you will have a chance.

Ive failed time and time again through lack of patience, ive had 2 correct score threads go over 100 in a row, and then just lost interest, ive had numerous horse laying attempts and failed through just being greedy and trying to get there too quick. I mean how hard can it be? Lay 1 horse every day @ 33/1 and turn £100 into £2k in 3 months ? In reality though its much harder....

How people can take 1.01 about over 0.5 goals is beyond me, when in reality its about 1.08 @ Betfair. Look at it like this, do 1 bet @ Betfair @ 1.08, or sweat thru 8 games at 365 for the same payout? Crazy. People betting on under 15 womens games, and ukranian 3rd division u18 reserve games, simply because of the odds and the need to complete asap.
