Caledonia Princess - Bath 7.25 (1pt win; 10-1 BET365 BOG) This horse ran up a sequence of three wins last summer at Windsor. This is her second race back after a long absence (now with Jo Hughes). On her seasonal reappearance she shaped well over 5f, but just seemed to run out of puff. Should strip fitter today over the preferred 6f. Not badly handicapped having won off this mark only five runs ago. The blinkers are back on today (has won in them before, albeit on the all-weather). The favourite, Pick A Little, has just completed a hat-trick. However, those were all small-field 3YO races, whereas today there are lots of older rivals, and it is stepped up to Class 3. Anyhow, 10-1 just seems much too big for Caledonia Princess, who was forecast as 5-1 in the Racing Post.
