The second Genting Poker Players Championship takes place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2011 at Circus Casino, Star City, Birmingham, UK. Genting Poker is adding £10,000 to this huge event, that’s massive added value on top of the £150 + £15 Buy In. Last year’s event attracted 305 players, we estimate this year’s will hit 400 to 450! The only way to get into this exclusive Genting Poker event, is to buy in online or to qualify online, no physical buy-ins in club are permitted. See below for a full list of poker rooms you can buy in or qualify at. About the Tournament The 2011 Genting Poker Players Championship promises to be even better than last year’s with a bigger field, better structure and more added value prizes and events. It will again, be hosted at Circus Casino, Star City one of Europe’s biggest casinos. The game will be No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em, 10 seat tables, fully dealer dealt. The payout structure is a deep one, ensuring many players get rewarded, and don’t forget with that extra £10,000 added, there is significant extra value. Plus the winning player will receive a £1500 Palm Beach Big Game package, to play in the biggest buy in monthly poker tournament in UK Poker. The Genting TV crew will again be covering the event, including live streaming throughout the tournament, player interviews and much more, so if you want to be famous, what better place to start. We will also have a series of cash games available throughout the weekend, with greater availability of dealers than last year, in addition our Side Events will have their own dedicated dealer pool also. A 2,000 chip boost is available for players who do the following: Qualify (rather than buy in) online at one of the 4 great poker rooms listed above. OR Buy In online, but generate just £5.00 in Rake or Tournament fees between 1st July 2011 and 23rd September 2011. The maximum starting stack at the Players Championship is 10,000. The only players who will start with 8,000 are therefore those who buy in online, and do not generate £5 in Rake or Fees. Waiter service will be available throughout the tournament. The blind structures are subject to change to ensure a good tournament takes place. Buy Ins will be £10 + £1, £20 + £2 and £50 + £4. GPPC Bonanza Super Sat not in lobby, 19:30, Fri 16th Sept (tomorrow), £10 + £1, £5 Rebuys / Add On, 5 (five) Genting Poker Players Championship Seats Guaranteed, worth £150+£15 each.
