Summer Jumping Like it or Loathe It

I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place. As I have been labelled the PL "newshound", I wanted to know your opinions on summer jumping, as for me, I dont mind it at all, but only as long as the ground is safe, in the old days, asking horses to jump on rock hard ground was a bridge too far, so thats why the BHA banned clerks declaring Hard ground therefore transferring to another course. You have places like Kelso that do not race during the summer, and Newton Abbot that dont during the winter Thoughts please
