He has been very good at home, going 8-1 with a 2.27 ERA in his last 13 home starts, and he has faced Detroit once before, allowing just the 1 run in the 5-4 win over them last August. Scherzer has been pitching well as well, going 5-0, with a 3.15 ERA and allowed just 4 hits in the 4-0 win over the NY Yankees. He too has faced Toronto once before and allowed 1 run in the 7-1 win over them in Toronto last August. So we have two pitchers in very good form, but believe that Toronto will be much stronger batting wise with Bautista and Lind having already played a game after their time off due to injury and can see them hitting Scherzer who has had his problems on the road before, and may come down after a high of beating the Yankees.
