blackcrow Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 Detroit - Seattle under 7.5 @ 2.18 pinnacle Penny is 1-2, with a 6.35 ERA but is coming off a very good start where he allowed just one hit in the 9-0 win over the Chicago White Sox. He has been very good at home where he is 1-0 with a 1.98 ERA in 2 starts and like him to do well yet again, against a Seattle batting line up not noted for its scoring. Pineda has pitched well this season as he is 3-1, with a low 1.78 ERA, as he allowed all 3 runs in the 3-2 loss at Texas, but had allowed just 2 runs in total in his previous 3 starts. Can see both pitchers coming out on top here Boston -1.5 @ 1.95 pinnacle Lester is 2-1, with a 2.59 ERA as he has allowed just 1 run in his last 2 starts, allowing just 4 hits in the 4-3 win over the LA Angels. He will be looking forward to pitching to Baltimore as he is 13-0 with a 2.33 ERA in 16 starts against them. Bergesen opposes his and he is 0-3, with a 5.40 ERA as he allowed 6 runs on 8 hits in the 15-2 loss to the NY Yankees. Boston have the better pitcher here, and like them to salvage something from this series after having lost the first two games to Baltimore St Louis -1.5 @ 2.26 pinnacle McClellan is 3-0, with a 2.16 ERA as he allowed 2 runs in the 4-2 win over Cincinnati. He should get some run support from his batters who have hit well of late, as they should be able to score on Figueroa, who is 0-3, with a very high 8.55 ERA. He allowed 6 runs in the 14-7 loss at Milwaukee while he has not done well against St Louis, going 1-1 with a 5.54 ERA in 5 starts Arizona - Chicago Cubs over 9.5 @ 1.88 pinnacle Enright is 0-2, with a 6.65 ERA as he allowed 5 runs on 12 hits in the 6-4 loss to the NY Mets. He is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in 2 starts against the Chicago Cubs as he allowed 4 runs in the 6-5 loss to them earlier this month. Dempster's numbers are not much better as he is 1-2, with a 7.63 ERA, as he allowed 7 runs on 9 hits in the 10-8 win over the LA Dodgers. He is 2-7 with a 6.24 ERA in 14 starts against Arizona, and allowed 5 runs in the 6-4 loss to them earlier this month. With both pitchers giving up runs can see this one going over.
