blackcrow Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 Oakland -1.5 @ 3.00 pinnacle Gonzalez is 2-0, with a very low 0.47 ERA after allowing just 4 hits to Minnesota in the 1-0 win over them, and then allowing 2 hits in the 3-0 loss to Detroit. His team are coming off a 5-0 win over Boston yesterday, and though they do tend to struggle to score, they will like their chances of scoring on Buchholz who is 0-2, with a high 6.60 ERA as he allowed 3 runs on 3 hits and 5 walks in the 7-6 loss to Toronto. He struggled in both of his starts at Oakland last year, giving up a total of 10 runs and it is doubtful it will get better here since Boston have lost all 7 road games this season, mainly due to their poor batting efforts. They have won their last 2 games and are starting to hit, unlike Chicago who have lost their last 6 games. Humber pitches for them and he pitched in that win as he allowed 1 run but with TB now having had a look at him, like him to get hit. He allwed 4 runs on 6 hits in the 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, and with their bats going cold, TB is building some momentum. St Louis -1.5 @ 2.45 (Game 2) Having earlier lost the first game of the double header, like St Louis to bounce back here as they have Garcia on the mound who is 2-0, with a 1.35 ERA as he did allow 3 runs on 8 hits in the 9-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. He should get some mor benefit here from the bats who have been hitting well of late, and has faced Washington once before where he allowed 8 hits in the 4-2 win over them. Zimmermann is 1-2, with a 2.45 ERA but is coming off allowing 4 runs on 5 hits in the 4-0 loss to Philadelphia on Thursday. He is 0-1 with a 9.31 ERA in 2 starts against St Louis and did give up 5 runs on 7 hits in the 1110 win over them.
