MLB Overall 2011 21-18 +2.33 units (53.84%) Giants -119 to win 1 unit @ 5dimes Zito is having a tough year (well maybe last few years). But Saunders has been much better. I think Zito is due for a good game and the Giants own the Diamondbacks, winning the last 21 of 28. Twins +116 to bet 1 unit @ 5dimes Kind of a hunch here..Neiman has been terrible so far this year and dont see the Rays sweeping.

Re: MLB: April 16th 2011 Picks overall 7-5 +1.64 units Dodgers over 6.5 @1.80 bet365 Cardinals scored 20 runs in last 2 games, Puyols is out of slump in big style, and rest of the lineup is also hot. McCellan had 2 good start in his first year as a starter and both were pretty good, but I'm not sure how long he can continue to pitch that well. Cardinals bullpen is awful, and I hope that Dodgers can score a couple of runs on them. Kershaw have great start, he don walk as many batters as he did last year, and that is main reason for succes, but think that hot Cards lineup can hurt him.

Re: MLB: April 16th 2011 Picks San Diego -1.5 @ 2.16 pinnacle Latos allowed 3 runs in the 3-2 loss to Cincinnati, and has pitched well against Houston in the past, allowing just 6 hits with no runs, while striking out 16, so he has pitched well to them. Houston have scored just 3 runs in the two games they have played in this series so far, so doubt that they do much here. Figueroa is 0-2, with a 10.61 ERA, as he has allowed 15 runs on 19 hits in these 2 games, and gave up all 5 runs in the 5-4 loss to the Cubs. Can see him giving up some runs here to the Padres, as they have been steady in hitting the ball, and are coming off scoring 4 runs on 8 hits in a much better pitcher (Happ) yesterday. Atlanta -1.5 (Game 2) @ 2.30 pinnacle Jurrjens starts his season as he comes off the disabled list and is primed for a good start here, considering that he is 7-2 with a 2.81 ERA against the NY Mets, and especially at home he has been very good pitching to them, going 4-0 with a 1.75 ERA. Pelfrey counters for the Mets and he has allowed 15 runs in his first 3 starts which the Mets have all lost, as he is coming off giving up 4 runs on 6 hits in the 7-6 loss to Colorado. In Atlanta, he is lost his last 3 starts with a high 7.24 ERA while the Mets, have supported him with just 4 runs in these 3 games. Detroit -1.5 @ 2.43 pinnacle Verlander is 1-1, with a 3.13 ERA and his coming off a complete game where he allowed both runs off 4 hits, while striking out 11 in the 2-0 loss to Texas. He is 4-4 with a good 2.85 ERA against Oakland, and in his last start he pitched another complete game, allowing 4 hits in the 5-1 win over them. Braden is 0-1, with a 4.15 ERA, and is coming off allowing 1 run on 5 hits in the 2-1 win over the Chicago White Sox. However he is 2-4 with a 6.75 ERA in 8 starts against Detroit, and with Detroit hitting much better than Oakland, like the away team to win this one, as they have also won 4 straight games while Oakland has lost the last 2 games.
