Tabbythecat Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Amatuer jockey Richard Hawkins was taken directly to hospital following a heavy fall in the opening race at Taunton on Tuesday evening. Hawkins was knocked out in the incident and was treated at the scene for more than 15 minutes by course medics. He had yet to come round when placed into the ambulance for the short journey to Musgrove Park Hospital. Dr John Heathcock said: "Richard is unconscious. He was taken directly to hospital." I wish him well Quote
