Early one for me here. 210 Southwell - Clear Ice 1pt EW @ 5/1 Hills Course specialist who's form at this track reads 2212513222 with Course and Distance form of 212. Form figures away fro this track are what keeps him on a very low mark, with those figures reading 554808843824738373, so clearly gives all his best running here. Has won round here off a mark of 68, and with the 3lb claimer on board, on that for he is potentially well in. Hard horse to get his head in front but will be sure to give a very good account of himself here in a race, which doesnt boast too much in the way of depth. Ran very well LTO showing a bit of a return to form and a renewed enthusiasm behind Dickie Le Davoir and if he is to build on that run then he could prove too good here and is entitled to be involved at the business end of proceedings here.

Re: Flat Racing - 12th April 320 Wolverhampton - Arachnophobia 1pt EW @ 10/1 Hills On bare recent form then there is no real basis for backing this horse but I am going a bit deeper than recent form. This fella has run poorly before but has come back to form here. Course form reads 311, indeed only 2 career runs here over CD have both resulted in wins, off marks of 68 and 81. Runs off 77 here, so on that basis the mark doesnt neccesarily look a punishing one. Im a real fan of George Baker as a jockey particularly here at Wolves and if taking to the track as well as he has done on all 3 previous occasions, he should be there or thereabouts come the end of the race. Happy to take the chance at this price.
