Unfrozen
Hi, I'm new on Betfair and I wanted to ask you something. My bank is 100$. I want to lay an odd during a tennis game at 1.05 and have a liability of 10$. So I have to lay 200$ to risk 10$. Luckily, later in the game the favorite loses a bit of control and his odd raises to 1.30, to close the trade I need to back 161,54$ on the same guy. Can I do that even if I only have 100$ in my bank ? Yours sincerely.
Datapunter
Re: Back/Lay/Liability Yes, on the same market you use the profit from the previous bet as stake for the trade bet. Often helps if you write it out as a "position". Action - Bank - Player1 / Player2 1 - $100 - $0 / $0 2 - +80 - +200 / -20 ( layed 200 @ 1.05 ) 3 - +100 - +36 / +36 ( backed 161 @ 1.30 ) The stake of bet 3 comes out of the +200 profit.
