thunderfoot
Looking at doing the 3 pick option with one of the online bookmakers with typical odds of :- Play & match6 Number Draw7 Number Draw5 numbers£100,001£30,0014 numbers£6,501£3,0013 numbers£576£3012 numbers£53£361 number£6.50£5.50 I want to use one of the 'wheels' from http://www.weefs-lottosysteme.de/systeme,en.htm. Suppose I use the 630600000415 wheel from this website, which is over 4 lines and guarantees a 3 number win if any 6 of your 15 selected numbers are drawn :- 1. 01 04 05 11 14 15 2. 02 03 07 09 12 13 3. 02 06 07 08 10 12 4. 03 08 09 10 12 13 First question, before I go any further is, the above is classed as a '6 number wheel' yet the website http://www.49s.co.uk/IrishLotto/IrishLottoHowtoplay/tabid/88/Default.aspx quotes "You can bet on 1 to 5 numbers from the 45 in each draw. Bookmaker bets may vary. Six numbers and a bonus ball are drawn and you can select to play either the 6 number or 7 number draw (which includes the bonus ball to increase your chances of winning)." ...... does this mean I have to use a '5 number wheel' and not a '6 number wheel', as you can only bet on up to 5 numbers of the 6 (or 7) that are drawn? Next question. Assuming the '6 number wheel' is acceptable, if I want to bet on the 3 number option, am I correct that for each of the 4 lines of the wheel I will need to quote "perm any 3 from 6", therefore the stake will be 80 units? Hope all this makes sense!!!
Machine
Re: Irish Lottery when it says £576 for 3 number it means 3 NUMBERS ONLY NOT ANY 3 FROM 6 If you wanted any 3 from 6 it would be 20 combinations of 3 So your wheel of 15 numbers guarenteeing 3 if six are drawn would cost you 20 x 4 = £80. to £1 stakes
