I wasn't following the sport at the time, but I've watched some old AP rides when he started riding and I think there are lots of similarities. What a ride by the lad on Line Freedom today. She was green, wondering about in front. He didn't use whip when he saw she's not straight. Started slapping her on the neck with a hand and pushing her to get her going. Then straightened her and made her run to the line to win. Very very good ride and I think this is a jockey going places. Been very impressed with him. 10 wins from 40 rides I think.
