Im not sure if you saw but Fjordebonker said something like "Sorry, you should bet more you made it too cheap for me to stay in". I am not an expert at poker, in fact I am probably a losing player over all however just watching some of those hands they were screaming BET MORE! :) ... Yep you and Fjordebonker are right. I should bet this hand more aggressive. In this MTT I was on good way to take some money. :( But anyway, I still think I'm newbie in poker. :\ But these MTTs give me a lot. It's all in a good intentions. I have to agree with all Aldric said. In general, when you decide to raise pre flop, you have to ask yourself a question. Do I want to take blinds or raise small to keep some one in the pot? If you want to take blinds, you have to raise more. I know if you raise with medium strong hand, you might lose more post flop, but that's the way it is. You may min raise to slow play a monster or when blinds are really big. We had issue of min raise discussed in Strategy sometime ago. To be honest, I never min raise till at least blinds are like 1k/2k (it all depends on individual point of view) or I'm heads up. If I play 15 MTTs on the night, I probably min raise only few hands in total. I can see you jumped from full ring MTTs to 6 max. My honest opinion is, you shouldn't be playing to many of those. Not yet anyway. You have a problem with aggression in normal MTTs, where in 6 max you have to be twice more aggressive. Stick with what you know. Have a few crazy games and go raising crazy. Don't be afraid. It's all learning. You have to find your style and the way to adapt. When you start next MTT, watch the table in the 1st level. If you are on the tight table try to raise few hands in one orbit. Just go for it. 98o, J9, any suited cards etc. Don't be afraid to get busted. You will play another one right after. Mark and I don't expect any big returns (or any at all ;)). If you are trying at any cost to cash in (therefore playing very tight), please don't think that way. It's far better had this one chance to cash in big, than few small ones. Now, get back on those tables and start raising with that 109o like crazy :ok. I love your raise pre flop. But with two limpers calling you, you have to re think on that flop. When one of them bets, you just have to fold. The board is dry with only small str draw. He is not betting with nothing and you have to see, that for few hundred more he will call you 100%. If you ever try represent strength on the flop by pushing all in, you have to have some sort of hand. Any draw, small pair in your hand, hitting medium pair on the flop. What you did there it was suicide. If you fold on the flop, you have 1600 chips. With blinds only 30/60 (close to 18 blinds) you have plenty of time to play much longer. You have 8 blinds in this situation and you can not raise. It's a bad move. And that is why this muppet called you with 108o. If you push, he most probably folds and you are still in the game.
