2:25 Newbury Regal Heights 3pts - 11/2 (Bet365) Regal Heights comes here on a mark of 124, racing over a 3m+ trip for the first time since April. He's 10lbs lower than on that occasion. He hasn't won a race over further than 3m but when he was in his prime the races were far better, even finishing second to Denman on one occasion. His last four runs have been of great consistency without getting his head in front, but I think the softer ground and extended trip will see him win soon. He bumped into a well handicapped type in Swing Bill lto but pulled well clear of the third placed horse, who re-opposes today. Paddy Brennan gets on board today for the first time which is a good thing. Does seem to prefer the softer ground so although it's good to soft, praying for further rain for this one. He does go well on g/s though, as his recent attempts show.

Re: Jump Racing - 05/03/11 Doncaster 3:15 Ogee 2pts EW - 8/1 (VC) Think his last two outings shape his price. Is a remarkably consistent horse, rarely failing to get competitive. The forecast good ground will be in his favour and he has possibly slipped down to a lenient mark of 139. Yard doesn't send many out but had a winner yesterday which is encouraging. The horse has often been given a break to come back around this time and land a win, so the break of 113 days isn't a hindrance. The trip is what he needs nowadays and the quicker the ground the better. Priced up at 6/1 elsewhere which seems about right, should be fav imo.
