Barriere Casino in Cannes will be hosting the WSOPE from October 7-21, presumably at the expense of London. Only a translates news story on Google but this is big news. Let's hope for some decent qualifiers.

Re: WSOPE moving to France I think this was always part of the grand plan. Probably a good thing for poker in Europe as it was always a bit underwhelming at the Empire.
