Just seen this announcement. Don't think its yet in the poker rooms lists at either genting or circus. Genting Poker has announced an exciting new series of six tournaments for the UK poker calendar. The Genting Spring Championships culminate in the groups regional poker rooms in March with a mind-blowing 50% added money to each prize fund. For every £50 seat at one of the six regional Genting Spring Championships, the poker room is topping up the prize funds by an additional £25 per player, plus the winner of each Spring Championship Event also wins a seat for this year’s Genting Poker Players Championship in the Autumn. Once the cap is reached, qualifying will cease and buy in will close. No physical buy ins will be permitted, even if the event is not a sell out. 1. The Genting Poker Spring Championship 2011 is only available to players on Circus Poker, Genting Poker, ATR Poker Club and Poker Encore Qualifying starts week commencing Monday 7th February 2011
2. The prize pool will be paid into the player's online account by 5pm the next working day.
3. Players qualifying via satellite will be awarded with a token to buy in to any Genting Poker Spring Championship event, it is the players responsibility to use this token to register ONLINE for their chosen Genting Poker Spring Championship Event BEFORE it sells out. Re: Genting Spring Championships well a pretty rottin night. 47 runners with 30 min blind and 10,000 starting stack. got to first break with 11,000. Then for next 3 levels no cards. in 5 levels not a single pair. By level 6 and antis we are down to 19 and i have only 12 times the big blind, finally i get AK and go all in over the top of an early position raiser who calls showing A3 off. He hits his 3 on the turn and i am out.
