Re: Flat Racing: 8th Jan 2011 Taking 3 today. 12.50 Lingfield 11 left in for this 7f Class 5 handicap and this one looks quite open going 5/1 the field. I'm against Lisahane Bog who returned to form lto off an attractive looking mark but the 4lb rise will almost certainly be enough to thwart it's attempt to follow up, whilst Khajaaly is in search of a hat trick but the step up in class as well as the rise up the weights is the reason I'm against this one. I Confess is another in great form but class and handicap mark is against this one. It leaves me with Yankee Storm, a horse with a massive chance indeed. Generally campaigned in a higher grade and now off a very attractive mark, this one comes here with a top chance. Add to that its excellent recent form and I just think this one is priced up all wrong against its market rivals. Never won in Class 4 so drop to 5 is a massive boost. Last win came back in this grade off 1lb lower. Beaten in a blanket finish last week off same mark but higher grade and previous to that, 4 starts ago here over C&D, was a close up 3rd off 2lb higher. With class and mark doubts surrounding its rivals, I think this is a perfect opportunity for this one to score for the first time since July. Yankee Storm, 2pts EW @ 11/2 William Hill BOG
