To barrel or not to barrel?

I never shirk from firing 2 or 3 barrels whenever needed but these situations sometimes come up where you could very likely have the best hand but also your opponent must have so many outs is it worth betting? Re: To barrel or not to barrel? stats? if you really think you have the best hand on the turn then i'll bet it everytime, especially if the villain is not aggressive, or if you know he'll tend to check raise with hands like AhX. You have position anyway which puts you in a pretty advantageous situation. Generally with position here in a shorthanded situation I think I'm going to fire again more often than not. He might have a ton of outs against you, so why let him draw?
