No idea how things currently stand at Navan but here's hoping. 12:45 Navan Endless Intrigue 3pt win - 2.96 (currently available with Betfair). I think anything near 2/1 is an absolutely massive price here. Endless Intrigue is a very lightly raced 6 year old presumably due to an injury as he had over a year off the track but seems to have regained the ability shown back then. Finished second to Cousin Vinny in the Champion bumper at Punchestown back in 2008 and was then out until earlier this year when finishing close up to the very promising Our Girl Salley in a bumper. Then finished second to another decent type in a bumper who recently beat a good Mullins youngster in Sicillian Secret. Then won two on the bounce, both on the flat, before running a cracker in the Irish Cesarewitch to finish fourth. Is rated 94 on the flat and is now making his debut over hurdles. Has only ever been out of the first two twice, once when returning after a year + long absence and still finished close up in a good bumper then, and in the Irish Cesarewitch, in a field of 24, finishing fourth is no disgrace. Makes his hurdling debut here, and is definitely the classiest horse in the field. His main rival looks to be a horse that struggles to win, and it'll be disappointing if he can't go close here. If 80% fit should take this, and I think almost 2/1 is a massive price.
