2:50 Haydock Ballyfitz - 0.5pts EW - 33/1 (Ladbrokes) Switches back to hurdles after a poor effort lto over fences. After disappointing in last year's Hennessy Ballyfitz was switched back to hurdles which yielded a good win in the Pertempts Qualifier. That was over just short of this trip but on heavy ground. Back in 08 Ballyfitz won over this c+d in another Pertempts qualifier. 4lbs up on his last win over hurdles could be pretty lenient and he'll be sharp enough after his jump around Cheltenham's stiff fences lto. The weight will be tough to carry but NTD is in good enough form and the price is worth chancing.

Re: Jump Racing - 20th November 3:25 Haydock Tidal Bay 0.25pts EW - 28/1 (Skybet) Imperial Commander sets the standard here and will take all the beating if in the same form as last year, but I'll take a small chance on Tidal Bay. Big things were expected after his Arkle win but he didn't seem to kick on. He is a high class horse and has only ever finished outside the top three five times in 26 starts. Bounced back to form when slamming the Cleeve Hurdle field but again failed to kick on. He'll have no problem staying and will act on the ground. Worth risking and is fit after debut run over hurdles.
