Jump Racing - Sun 14th Nov

:ok Surprised big priced punters (Ted!) haven't pointed out Sophie's Trophy in the 14:55. Looked a decent performer before pulling up last seen over hurdles. Flat runs were quite promising recently too. I've took the 50's on offer now with Paddy Power. Will post a proper write up later on!

Re: Jump Racing - Sun 14th Nov Greatwood Hurdle Notes so far: Manyriverstocross - seems very well handicapped, King has always felt he had a big prize in him, now the yard have emerged from the doldrums he looks sure to go well as they have readied plenty FTO in weeks gone by. 6/1 seems about right though. Menorah - classy horse, form ties in with several of these and has a nice profile. Could be the next Khyber Kim, Sizing Europe etc, and continue his progression as a hurdler. Yard in good nick, again price looks about right. General Miller - closely matched with the previous two in the betting and form ties in with them as well. Henderson can get them ready FTO and he is proven at the track. Get Me Out of Here - McCoy never expected much of him on his seasonal reapp, shame us punters didnt know when we waded into the 5/2 the other week. Still should come on for the run, but has to be watched at this price after that terrible run. Sanctuaire - hacked up at the festival and lightly raced but another that looks fairly price based on his form and little margin for error at 6/1. Sure Josie Sure - improving handicapper at the foot of the weights for Pipe. Form of the yard worrying me though, they have tended to need the run as Great Endeavour showed today, so passing over at a short price. Nine of the last ten renewals have gone to one in single figures, but with none of the above standing out as stonking value perhaps it might pay to buck the trends and pick an each way price? The mare Issaquah has been in good form and was third in the Swinton. Raised in the weights though and more exposed than some, the handicapper will probably have her measure now. Orsippus sprung a huge shock at Aintree turning over Sanctuaire and building on his Fred Winter third at the festival. Yard have high hopes for him and he holds/is aiming for a number of top class hurdles races this term. Would have needed to show more on last run here to warrant more of an interest but 50/1 seems silly for a grade 1 winner. Might be better on flatter tracks possibly though. Fiulin is potentially interesting on handicap debut off 130. Dropped 5 lbs from last run when third to useful Dunraven Storm (made most of running) as that winner since taken second to useful Cue Card here on Friday. Prior to that was one of the best backed horses of the day running here in October, price plummetting into 11/8 only for the jockey to send him off stupidly short and see him reeled in close home by King of the Night on the bit up the hill. The winner let that form down by travelling badly here on Friday in the Cue Card race, but nonetheless, if Fiulin could be ridden a bit more enterprisingly here, might save a bit more for a likely battle up the hill. Astracad is an improving handicapper and proven around here. Jockey and trainer will be buzzing after Little Josh's win today, chances here will depend on whether the field come back to the likely leaders but 20/1 seems quite a decent price. Puzzlemaster is only lightly raced over fences, proven here, and stood no chance in a flat race run at a dawdle at Salisbury latest. Plenty of winners emerged from that race and a rare hurdles runner for Hughie Morrison, but has a lot to prove in this company and seems priced more accurately than Fiulin for example. Hoping for a few drifts on the outsiders in the morning....
