Re: Daily Satellite Winnings November 2010 Just had this confirmed this morning, over the moon to win this league :nana:nana:nana:nana:nana:nana Spitvenom crowned UKPPL Premier Division champion November 22, 2010 by UKPPL Editor Comments (6) 888CLASSIClarge.jpg After 15 awe inspiring weeks on the UKPPL felt, the final league game of the season came to an end and confirmed Spitvenom as the inaugural UKPPL Regular Season champion. Spitvenom has led from the front and managed to keep the pursuing pack at bay, despite never winning a UKPPL Premier Division game. Spitvenom has played consistently well throughout the season and has proved the old adage that consistency is the key. The champion takes with him a $7500 trip to the Caribbean. Finishing on a mammoth 2386 points, he was hunted vigorously by four other contenders. R1tchie fell just 177 points behind in second, whilst Christopher Cornelius and hayley finished third and fourth respectively. Sunday was the last league game for both the UKPPL Premier Division and Division 2. Firstly the Division 2 season was determined as 85 players entered Tournament 15. When hingootc was eliminated in third place it left a heads-up battle between SweatyBetty and penhaligen. And from the feedback, this was an epic clash, proving as a testimony to the UKPPL. SweatyBetty claimed the victory and won the free ticket into the final Premier Division game. However, it was R1tchie who topped the overall standings for Division 2. The final UKPPL game of the season saw 100 players enter the 888 Poker Classic. This was the player's last chance to qualify for the semi-finals and was contested fiercely over the felt. Pistonbroke was the last player to win the 888 'donkey prize' of $100 for finishing 88th. Spitvenom finished a solid seventh to win the Regular season Championship; however plenty was still to be played for with six players left on the final table. Stephen Horner, mark and Bart were next eliminated leaving just three players competing for the $1500 holiday. And when THEGODFATHER was shot down in third it left a straight shootout between welshpride77 and burnleyjoe. With this said, it was burnleyjoe who secured his first UKPPL win in the final tournament of the inaugural UKPPL season. Burnleyjoe was awarded the $1500 holiday and $151.50 to cap off a productive nights work. As we move into the playoffs I would like to thank everyone who has made the UKPPL a fantastic place to be over the last 15 weeks. A massive congratulation goes out to Spitvenom for his fantastic Premier Division win and to all the players who have qualified for the playoffs. If you were unfortunate enough not to qualify don't worry you have another chance in the Wild Card Tournament.
