This system would be basically perming selections into doubles. Race 1 needs 2 selections, the rule being that they must be first 2 in the betting forecast in a race where they are both between evens and 2/1 approx, with the 3rd best being approx 5/1 or higher. We'll call them A & B Race 2 needs 3 selections, the rule being that it is the race with the fewest number of runners where the favourite is 9/4 or higher in the betting forecast, and the first 3 are taken. We'll call them C D & E. Then 6 double bets are placed AC AD AE & BC BD BE. Using the Sporting Life betting forecasts yesterday gave: 2.10 11/8 Yair Hill (IRE), 9/4 Marked Card (IRE) nb was 5/1 4.10 11/4 Country Road (IRE), 10/3 Bondage (IRE), 9/2 Into The Light Marked Card & Bondage were a winning double @ 7/4 & 3/1 Today's are/were: 2.10 uttox 13/8 Miss Miracle, 2/1 Frameit (IRE) nb 11/2 5.40 kemp 9/4 Whistleinthewind (IRE), 7/2 Exceedthewildman, 4/1 Flighty Frances (IRE) Framit has already won at 11/4 Now, hopefully, the 5.40 completes the double. I didn't create this method, but I can see some logic behind it..... ..... but does anybody have any good ideas for some sort of staking plan? Or am I better off say doing, for example, 50 x 1pt perms @ 6pts a time, and if in profit at the end of 50 bets, revising the amounts accordingly? I ask as obviously there will always be 5pts lost, regardless of hitting a double, so this needs a jolly good strike rate to pay.

Re: Your thoughts please..... 50+ views & no opinions? Oh well, we'll try this 50 bets & see where we are after that. Returns to be based on SP. Races where the fav is predicted to be odds-on are not permitted..... Thurs 14th Oct selections (betting forecast odds from Sporting Life): Race 1 (closest I could see after avoiding those forecasted as odds-on) 6.20 Kempton : 2/1 Prophet In A Dream, 11/4 Saucy Buck Race 2 3.50 Wincanton 9/4 Orion Star (IRE), 3/1 Wizard of Edge, 5/1 Lord Lescribaa 6 x 1pts doubles.
