Once these are sold , all other players buying in during the first 4 levels will become alternates and we will do our best to get you sat but cannot promise , please bare in mind you will have a small and big blind deducted for each level missed. Simon Trumper Posted November 12, 2010 Author Share Posted November 12, 2010 Tweaks to new weekly structures Hi All After running the new weekly events for a couple of nights we are delighted with the 20% player increase but feel there is a compromise that can be made for the players that can't make the earlier start times that will improve the player experience during the lower blind levels and reduce the number of chips lost for late arrivals. The £15 comp will now go from a 15 minute clock throughout with initial 4 levels for registration to 3 x 20 minutes during which you can register then 16 minutes thereafter. Players will still have an hour to join but maximum chips deducted is reduced from 750 to 450. The £50 comp will now go from a 20 minute clock throughout with initial 4 levels for registration to 3 x 25 minutes during which you can register then 20 minutes thereafter . Players will have 5 minutes less to register but again maximium chips deducted will only be 450 , less than 10% of starting stack. We hope these changes will be appreciated and prove popular as we try to find the right balance between player experience and getting the comps finished early enough to attract the majority that work and can't sustain 3.30am finishes. With £5000 guaranteed producing a £1750 first prize in our £50 comp scheduled to end 1am to 1.30am compared to the previous average of £1250 ending at 3am to 3.30am i know what i would prefer. So for next 2 weeks the following times will be in place. Saturday November 20th £50 + £8 NL Freezeout 10,000 chips 30 minute clock. £15,000 guaranteed. Therefore the £15 comp will now start at 7.30pm with last registration available up to 8.40pm and the £50 comp will return to it's original start time of 8.00pm with last registration now 9.25pm. This is 38% down on last months 459 players , last month Sundays £150 had 218 , if this trend continues we can expect 135 and another £10,000 overlay but the weather is improving and we hope that those that couldn't make today and many others will show there support tomorrow and come and play the tournament , therefore we yet again are sticking with the guarantee of £30,000 ! Several have called to say there are on the way for our £100 with £20,000 guarantee so i have extended late reg to 5 levels , we currently have 136 players for a £6400 overlay , you have until 7.45pm to register.
