Re: Aussie Millions - Runadrum in Last 22 - Gtd AUD 65,000
was wondering the same - however Gareth Teatum Eliminated in 23rd Place ($65,000) Teatum moved allin for 81,000 and was called by Erik Seidel from the big blind. Teatum was behind with his KQ against Seidel's A4. A king on the flop gave Teatum confidence but running fours meant disaster for Teatum and the end of his Aussie Millions campaign. That's disapppeared now: might have been an error? -

Re: Aussie Millions Very Quiet Upstairs Erik Seidel and Robert Holster are battling for the chip lead at the feature table upstairs. Other than that there is not too much to report on, even with it being six-handed not much action is being created. Seidel if you can believe it is actually the loudest player at the table at the moment. So Duncan is not on the featured table then - am sure he would be making lots of noise PL CHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGEEEEEEEEEEE perhaps?? LOL Damo

Re: Pop Quiz (part XXXVI)
Thanks Steve for the response and :welcometo the forum, nice to have you here:ok The buy-in and and/or the outcome does not matter, its the correct play I am interested in, to try to play better in future situations and everyone seems to want to fold (though I really did like Jonne's post, full of sound reasoning). I had no reads at the time, but do have some now! For the record here are the hands those three played (and the callers played quite badly IMO) iidol shows: Jack of Clubs, Ace of Hearts (AI first) samyraptor shows: 8 of Hearts, 4 of Clubs (called!! I can only assume he was hitting the call check box as iidol shoved?) bperrozzi shows: Ace of Diamonds, King of Hearts (called! this is truly poor, he should either fold or shove to create a side pot/get HU) And then of course the invetible happens! ** Dealing the flop: 8 of Clubs, 8 of Spades, 5 of Spades ** Dealing the turn: 10 of Clubs ** Dealing the river: Ace of Spades :lol Cheers Damo2The play totally depends on the buyin of the STT and any read you have from previous hands on these guys. dependant). I'm guessing you called and the 1st caller shows AA and you lost or you wouldn't post it! -

Do folks remember issue with the multi-account winner of the party/stars sunday million a couple of years ago? (it got leaked that the winner had bought into the tounry on two accounts and had his money frozen when it was confirmed?) Well on pokertube is an interview with JJprodigy at this years Aussie millions - its his first live game ever as he has just turned 18...... hmmmm so he was winning hundreds of thousands of $ when he was 16, hmmmmmmm I feel that I should just quietly drift off and get my free buss pass....... :sad Damo

Re: I'm in a rut!! Help!
I think we all have all been there. (I had 30 or so out of money finishes playing STT's a couple of years ago that bolloxed my BR:puke - I was 3/4 tabling a couple of hours a day, and had 3 horrendous days before coming to my senses). I gave up playing for a month and didn't think about poker for the first couple of weeks, I then started to read forums and books and got the itch again. I serioulsy looked at my BR and started from scratch playing within my BR limit not the usual level I had been playing in. Playing ABC poker, not doing anything fancy and just being confident in my decison making process. If I ship the chips in with way the best hand and get the bad beat then I didn't mind. Confidence is a very important part of poker. I think you have lost some of yours. I did and felt crap:( I also played omaha (microstakes) rather than HE for a change for some variety and that helped. If your poker site has freemoney games, they try that or stud or anything else but HE, just to get you playing skills back and get your card reading/pot odds calculations going and FOR FUN! (poker should be fun as well) You could post a few hand histories here if that would help? Best of luck:ok DamoI've never had a run like this before. How has anyone else who has gone through this coped with it, and what have you done to extract yourself from this position? Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Steve
