Agree with Rushall being overpriced against my side, I'd make them slight favourites if anything, on a 4g pitch as well, will be going to the game so hopefully the bookies are right and we come away with three points.
Already had a few quid on Leiston priced 5-1 away at Biggleswade, Biggleswade deserved more on Saturday but Leiston thrashed Biggleswade last midweek in the FA cup, the only reason I can see such a big price is the long midweek travel for Leiston
-
Tough league to call so far the Southern league Premier midland, still early days so hopefully it will settle down. Looking to midweek bet365 have a couple of weird prices imo
Rushall 3-1 at home to my team, 50-50 game at best imo on a 4g pitch and Leiston 5-1 away at Biggleswade who aren't worldbeaters

I'm on Bromsgrove as well to beat Biggleswade, Biggleswade lost to a side that will struggle this season St Ives last Saturday and were then hammered 5-1at Leiston in the FA Cup on tuesday. Bromsgrove drew with a good Coalville side last Saturday and were a bit unlucky losing to a late Stratford winner in the Cup, both these sides are better than Biggleswade so a performance anything like should see a Bromsgrove win imo
I'm also backing Stratford at 13-8 to win at Needham Market, Stratford looked very impressive at Bromsgrove with bags of pace whilst Needham are a lower midtable side at best imo
I'm also contemplating backing Hednesford at 9-5 at Lowestoft, Lowestoft another side that will be mid table at best whereas Hednesford are aiming for the play offs with new owners
Tamworth look bankers against St Ives for acca material as do Banbury against Redditch

I was at the bromsgrove v Stratford fa Cup game on Tuesday night, cracking game between two good sides, bromsgrove scored first and possibly should have won it but a very late goal won it for Stratford, on this evidence both should be top half minimum. Both of these sides face inferior opposition on Saturday imo so will be looking into the prices

I have deserted my beloved THFC and the PL and have decided to follow my local clubs, my wife bought me a season ticket for Enfield Town as a birthday present and then i noticed Potters Bar FC season ticket costs just £30 !!..... so thats my saturdays sorted during the winter months, both teams play in the Isthmian Premier League. During the summer months i follow domestic county cricket and run a tipping line specialising in cricket looking for a punting interest during the winter months and the ETFC and PBFC interest make the Isthmian league perfect. So i have priced up this weekends matches.....only one ric on my part, Hornchurch 2/5 i put them in at 8/13, i do like Lewes FC at 17/5 playing my team Enfield Town who have had a disjointed pre season to say the least, with a player testing +ve for CV19 they had 2 cancel pre season friendlies.Enfield Town have played one pre season match last Tuesday agst Enfield Borough who play at step6 level they admittedly had youth and triallists playing but lost 3-1, Lewes no great shakes but good time to play ETFC, have backed Lewes with a saver on the Draw at 5/2 . Also think Bognor Regis will win at Bishops Stortford price 7/5.
Potters Bar season tickets 30 quid!Wow, bargain or what!200 quid at bromsgrove for the same level -
Cheers Darren,
Thanks for the tips, I'm off to bromsgrove v Coalville, very tough to call this one

Hi Darren, any thoughts yet on the Northern and Southern leagues?
Due to covid I'm out of touch with all the comings and goings at most clubs, I do watch the Southern league Central regularly so hopefully I might have some decent tips as the season progresses. I'll be at bromsgrove v Coalville on Saturday, bromsgrove looked decent pre season with some good signings but Coalville are always strong! King's langley look a bit of value at Stratford imo
-
You're on a roll addpea!!
-
Stourbridge 4up ht
cracking tip Addpea
youve others are looking in with a chance as well, fingers crossed!
-
Hope you haven't backed it then cos I'm on
-
I like your stafford minus 1 shout add pea, they're on a decent run of form beating Hednesford and Nantwich in their last two and could run riot if they get an early goal or two, no new additions at Ilkeston so its still a game of men against boys basically

Fa vase saturday
My local side bromsgrove head to Watford way to play sun sports who ply their trade a level higher in the spartan league, they are currently mid table losing more games than they have won.bromsgrove meanwhile are unbeaten in their league this season and despite being a level lower are a quality side with some very good players and I expect us to win this game with a couple of hundred fans travelling to the game as well, our average crowd is over 500 which is phenomenal for the level we play at. Bet victor have us at 4-5 which is worth backing imo.
Also fancy Peterborough sports 4-7 at newport pagnell and hinckley at 11-10 home to Berkhampstead. Treble with bromsgrove at 4-5 pays about 5-1
-
Gosports money issues continue with 4 players making themselves unavailable for Boxing days 2-0 defeat at home to Poole town, they couldn't fill the bench. Today's the reverse fixture and you've got to fancy Poole to win but at a best 2-5 it's too short, therefore I've taken Poole minus 1 at 11-10
-
Chelmsford beat bishop stortford 4-0 on Boxing Day and only the goalkeeper of stortford kept the score line down apparently, this was stortfords second 4-0 defeat on the trot. Stortford keep signing players(3 more this week) but don't seem to have any continuity and look a team worth taking on.chelmsford have had investment this season and should win this one. Prices of 1-2 make no appeal so I've taken a riskier Chelmsford minus 1 at 8-5

Stourbridge are obviously flying at the minute and look underrated for the visit of high flying rushall who are overachieving imo
ive taken Stourbridge at 31-20 and also Stourbridge win and btts at 18-5
-
i read on a northern premier forum that skelmersdales already meagre budget has been cut further resulting in the players only receiving expenses with players sure to leave. So marine may be worth backing on Boxing Day although not the greatest price to be honest so maybe Acca material
-
My tip is Biggleswade town to win away at st Neots in the southern premier at 11-10 bet365(maybe better elsewhere)
st Neots are really struggling at the moment and have a couple of caretaker managers in charge following last weekends resignation of their manager but still lost 4-0 on Monday night at home to st Ives
-
Blimey addpea you've found some cracking early value there
i suspect some of those prices will crash come Boxing Day so I will join you with all of those games as they all look tremendous value imo
out of interest what's your biggest bet? Welling?

That 97th minute equalizer by Stourbridge was a bit of a pain given the others won.
I feel your pain!
and no I didn't back Ilkeston, meant to put marine and Halifax which bombed anyway
-
Stafford rangers have hit a bit of form recently and 9-4 away at Warrington looks a decent price imo, not a big bet but worth a few quid definitely
Kidderminster 23-20 at home to Darlington, kiddy are flying and although darlo are a good side themselves I fancy kiddy to edge it, kiddy and btts worth some consideration as well
Telford are in a rut with no money and no buyer on the horizon so I'll be taking halifax and Ilkeston in a double which pays about 7-4
-
Frozen pitches could be a problem tonight
Pitch inspection at Southport early afternoon
-
Hampton are around evens away at royston town in the trophy tonight which also interests me, a drab 0-0 draw apparently Saturday which was a great result for royston. However Hampton are very decent away from home and the home side may be caught out as they should be more open tonight on their own patch.
Southport and Hampton double pays around 7-2 which I've had a few quid on
-
I'm contemplating whether to back Southport at home to Solihull, seems mad after Saturdays 5-4 defeat at home to Braintree but I reckon Steve burr might get a reaction tonight and Solihull aren't the best travellers and also have a big fa cup game on Saturday at Luton which may be on a few players minds. Basically Southport's improved form recently(Saturday aside) and Solihull's heavy schedule and travelling recently(barrow and Torquay last week) points me to Southport

Some great winners there darran!
Was at the Rushall v Bromsgrove game, cracking advert for non league football, Rushall should have been out of sight first half but a spirited second half from bromsgrove saw them lead until two goals in the last ten minutes saw Rushall home. That's three sides, Rushall, Coalville and Stratford that I've been impressed with already, gonna be a cracking promotion race in this league with loads of good sides
