Outstanding call on Lancashire Kev the way you read between the lines of Durham's problem with spin and variable pace was excellent. I read the preview on the train home after it had started but still managed to get 5/4 when Durham were 4 wickets down. Well done sir!

Quarter final 2 preview: 4pts Peru to beat Bolivia Evs Skybet Peru might not have lit this tournament up like they might have been expected to with the quality of their main three players but they were so unlucky not to get something out of Brazil and contained a strong Colombia side so I expect them to contain Bolivia’s attacking exploits and with the quality they have in the forward areas they should have enough to get this one done inside the 90 minutes. Saturday previews: 4pts Uruguay vs Paraguay - Under 2 goals 1.97 BetVictor I don’t see this being a free scoring classic. Matches in this group have been very tight even when Jamaica have been involved and this is all set to be just as tight for me. Uruguay are struggling in front of goal but there are no struggles when it comes to defending, they’re doing fine there. Paraguay are competent defensively and nothing special going forward so under 2 goals looks tasty enough for me. Friday previews: 4pts Mexico vs Ecuador - Over 2.5 goals Evs Bet365 I fancy goals in this match. Ecuador have nothing to lose and have shown they can’t defend even if they did have something to protect whereas Mexico will want to win and win well to have a chance of moving up the group. It isn’t beyond possibilities that they win the group yet so they will be after a goal or two along the way as well but on the balance of the way Ecuador matches have gone so far I’m reasonably confident we’ll get three goals here and possibly a few more besides. I’m not so sure they will see enough of the ball to pose the threat going the other way that they did against Ecuador and Chile certainly won’t make the daft defensive mistakes Ecuador did against Bolivia so I expect nothing but a comfortable Chile win here. 4pts Denmark U21 (+0.75AH) to beat Germany U21 1.98 Ladbrokes I think Denmark will give as good as they get in this match and I think the bet is to take them on a handicap of some kind. The Asian line gives them a 0.75 goal head start which means Germany have to win by two to deliver a full loss. I think Denmark score in this match and so I don’t see them losing by two. Wednesday/Thursday am preview: 4pts Brazil vs Uruguay - Over 2.5 goals 23/20 Coral The way the group is going into this set of matches Iâ??m expecting a fairly open game. Weâ??ve already seen how Group A just opened right up and this group is set up to be even more open than that. Colombia canâ??t afford to lose and that should see them open up and be expansive and that might well play right into the hands of even this dogged rather than entertaining Brazil side. 4pts Paraguay vs Jamaica - Over 2.5 goals 11/8 Coral I’m interested to see how Jamaica go in this match. They played a lot better against Uruguay than I thought they would but I couldn’t be any less convinced by Uruguay if I tried so I’ll get a clearer picture in this match. One thing I do like in this game is goals. I don’t think Jamaica looked all that tight at the back and Paraguay have the players to punish them but Argentina’s pace exposed the Paraguayan defence and Jamaica certainly have plenty of that going forward. If they add some composure to that as well then I can see them finding the net but in order to cover the 2.5 line if Paraguay play like they did in the second half against Argentina we might not need Jamaica to find the net at all so I like overs here. 4pts Germany U21 (-1AH) to beat Serbia U21 1.93 BetVictor Ultimately I think Germany might have a little too much for the Serbians in this match. I’m certainly not going to write Serbia off long term at all but Germany have reinforced their squad with some real top level talent at any level and that talent should see them have more than enough to get their campaign off to a winning start.
