Re: S.a.a.w Tipstar :clap - have just noticed this thread. I've been toying with SAAW bets for a while and will certainly be following this. Whatever system is posted, there'll always be people each side of the betting fence - most important thig is that you make a profit, which to me does not seem too difficult over time. I've lost so many trebles because of ONE CRAPPY TEAM:wall but about once a year get 0/3. This system would reduce profit but more importantly mean that losses are a lot less frequent - losses will hit the pocket hard but a paper system/trial run can show whether overall it = profit or loss! Yes, it is a simple Martingale twist but come on lads - if you can't pick one winner from 2 or 3 games each satday, why are you betting?!?!?!? cheers for the info of the high street bookies taking these bets. :clap and :hope

Re: International Friendlies - Nov 15-17 It'll be interesting to see how Thompson does for N.I considering he has to get up at 5am tomorrow for his regular post round.....

Re: paul howell
84% strike rate' date=', every thing verifiable,,seems to good to be true[/quote'] surely with a strike rate of 84% his time would better be invested gambling than running a business....:unsure -
Re: Rugby Union - France vs Canada
Excellent call :clap :clap :clap decided to go in on the +45 (rather than the +50) as I'm greedy and like the bigger odds! Cheers mate :cheers:nana France 50-6 Canada :nana Phew!! :ok -
Re: World Cup Quals PLAY-OFFS, 12th and 16th November
:tongue2 it's good to see the Norweigan defence taking their positions early:rollinI think the Norwegians deserve to be applauded for the effort they've put into getting the pitch up to a playable standard. :clap I'll be watching this game on TV and am glad that I'll be able to enjoy some good passing football from both teams. Overall though you have to say that the advantage now sits with the Czechs, as they will be able to play their game of possession football, without too much effect from a poor pitch. Norway will probably look to defend the entire match and try to hit the Czechs on the counter-attack or take advantage of their height from set pieces. Worth a bet on the Czechs maybe. Any thoughts Tulenos? -
Re: French Over / Under 2.5 Goals System actually it is worth checking as you may get a better profit sometimes by laying the other option rather than betting - just depends what the odds are (obviously) but I've done this on betfair many times.... When there are just 2 outcomes (ie over/under) it is a lot easer and very quick to work out. It's just free money if it comes in!

Re: World Cup Quals PLAY-OFFS, 12th and 16th November How many Uruguayans play their football at home/how many play in Europe? My point being is that the Aussies (I think most/all play in Europe) have to travel to Uruguay, changing time zones, and then everyone goes to Australia, a further change of the time zones.

Re: £10,000 or I'll walk thread....
may be best sticking to poker...!!!:rollinAfter taking a month out to re-finance myself after a string of average results, its time to get this thread back and running. I took a loss of £128.49 on the last efforts and will now write that off and work from a bank of £500 won on poker over the last month. By going back to the simple policies of backing singles and doubles and trebles only from now on. -
Re: Danny Cash 'One Goal Will Do' system
:clap GOAL: Swindon 0-1 Scunthorpe: M Sparrow (35):clapHoping for a goal today at the County Ground... 12. Swindon Town v Scunthorpe (3pm) Layed 0-0 @ 14.5 -
Re: Danny Cash 'One Goal Will Do' system
at what point are you cutting your profit and starting again? Or are you just gonna go for a straight retirement fund?:)FT 1-1 :) Thanks kevsul. As it happens, no need for any complex systems or statistical research tonight. You could've selected ANY game in that league and gone home happy ;) So tonight I won £9.17 taking the bank to £120.15 Profit from attempt 2 stands at £70.15 Total profit since thread began: £20.15 Bets 22 Wins 21 SR 95.45% Level stakes(10pts per bet) +6.15pts Yield 2.80% -
Re: £100 to 1 million round 1 I've not been posting but am finding this technique is a lot better with patient betting (thus a better strike rate). From reading the posts it looks like trying to bet quickly on anything is about as successful as Everton's current tactics....

Re: Layer Cake
does that mean you work for the NHS too?:rollin :unsure :rollinMy main source of income now is from betting -
Re: Help!
1st things first - if you're relatively new to the betting world - play with very small amounts or nothing at all (just do the bets on paper) Personally, I would start with single bets (i.e. one bet at a time) and focus on one sport or (preferably) just one league (for example, the English Premier League) until you are confident and are winning your small/paper bets. Each of us that puts our thoughts and feelings onto the forum are doing just that - we aren't making concrete predictions. Its a vast help to have an idea of what you want to bet on first, THEN look at the forum to see if others are thinking the same way or arguing different points. Keep posting your ideas/questions and see what people say - it's likely that we'll all give you different information quite often, so you'll need to develop your gamblers gut-instinct!!! Sport will continually throw out scenarios like Grimsby 1-0 Spurs, Liverpool winning the Euro Champions League, Souness having a job - trying to pre-guess them is the beauty of gambling!hey guys, im relatively knew to the betting world! im a great footy lover and get more of a thrill to have money on matches, although i feel like im the unluckiest gambler in the world! so far i have lost over £300 and gained winnings of just £50! i wondered if anyone could give me any ideas of how to go about start winning bets? i dont like betting more than £40 in one go! so far i have just been taking tips off the forum and they aren't getting me very far! thanks if anyone can help. -
Re: Cains - 10 to 10.000 the frisky way... I haven't been having time to post my go with this but having fair success with simple wins without chasing the value bets - profit not fantastic, but profit is profit. My first go returned 20% profit of original stake after round 5 where I cashed in and started again. Second go halted after third round with 2% profit. Waiting for a good looking weekend to start 3rd attempt!

Re: £10,000 or I'll walk thread....
All the best and :hope 2 out of 2.... :unsure but I have to ask - out of all the bets to risk £150 this weekend - why these two bets???1. Osnabruck v Carl Zeis over 2.5.............£75 @ 1.82 2. Guimares V Braga over 2.5...................£75 @ 2.46 I have decided to take these price as i dont see them getting any better later on so heres hoping -
Re: WC Quals. 07/09 European Zone
:clap wow, I was right - tend to avoid picking draws! :@ thought better of backing it in favour of under 2.5 goals for the italy and scotland games!:wallsee the last paragraph of my last post... I personally feel Azerbijan have got the ability to get a draw, especially with the state of their pitches - doesn't help people to play football.... -
Re: Midweek Bets....
