  1. Re: Cheerleaders Wanted

    Am I the only one who has no idea what that means? :unsure
    I'm guessing he's got $0.41 in his account and believes he should have the priveledge to chat cause of it. Regards the other comment, I think he's suggesting Jaded has some peculiar fetishes :lol
  2. Re: Software on B2B Network

    I'm getting confused here - Boss and B2B are completely seperate networks aren't they? :unsure
    Yes, fcuked up making the thread, thought they were the same, change it if you can :lol Not sure why I thought they were the same, made sense at 6:40am lol Thanks for the reply Joe, i'll give it a try later after work :ok
  3. Just been reading through some poker stories and came across this joke, found it quite amusing so thought i'd pass it on;

    A 12 year old boy comes home from school and walks into his parents' room. Mom and dad are in bed making love. The boy asks, "What are you doing?" His dad replies, "Playing poker. Now get out of here." He goes to his older sister's room to find his sister and her boyfriend in bed making love. The boy asks, "What are you doing?" His sister replies, "Playing poker. Now get out of here." He goes to his older brother's room and finds his brother masturbating. He asks his brother, "What are you doing?" His brother replies, "Playing poker." The boy asks, "I thought that it takes two to play poker." His brother replies, "Not if you have a good hand."
  4. Re: Software on B2B Network Nice one Joe, downloaded the patch and the hand history's are importing ok :ok Am having problems still though, haven't been great with using PokerTracker before. Anyway when I click Tournament Summaries none of the hands seem to have been loaded into the database. I'm also getting this error everytime I close any internal windows;

    Please note that you currently have 59 hand history files in your hand history folder. This indicates that you have not been moving/deleting or allowing Poker Tracker to move these files (using the "Move processed files..." option of this window) when you close this window. It could also just mean that this is the first time you have used the auto-import functionality In either case, this many hand history files could cause the import to be somewhat slow and appear to be "frozen" at times while it is processing. It is strongly recommended that you use the "Move processed files..." option to keep this window running as fast as possible.
    I get that I've to tick the "Move processed files" option, but what destination folder do I use? Or do I just make one up? Any ideas on how to get these hand histories into my tournament summary? Cheers!
  5. While browsing around my PokerSatellites account i discovered I had over 3,000 hands played so I thought I'd go and use these in PokerTracker/PokerOffice and see how I was doing. I haven't had much success with either software in the past, only barely being able to import some hands from PaddyPower into it so wasn't too confident. Didn't work anyway, on either! PokerTracker gives me the following error message;

    Due to numerous formatting bugs in the Boss Media hand histories Poker Tracker will not import these hands at this time. I have contacted Boss Media to alert them of the problems and hopefully they will make the necessary fixes soon.
    With PokerOffice it says "processing..." for about 10-15 secs before saying "Failed to import Hand History". Is it just me or are others having problems importing too? Is it just Boss or other sites? Is there any other software out there that I could check to see some of my %'s? Quite frustrating not being able to get it working!
  6. Re: Inside Info / Hot Tips...

    Have a buddy woking in a bookmakes here. Saying he's taking loads of bets on "Evens And Odds" in the 2000 Guineas on May 5th. Thought this thread would be the best place to pass on the info. Currently 40/1 :hope
    Jimany, I live in County Kerry and i was given that horse about 3 weeks ago. Got 120 on Betfair. Bookies in Killarney have supended betting on "evens or odds" due to the amount of cash put on the horse. I was gonna post it on here aswell but needed clarifacation from the yard. Was told on the phone last night that the yard are expecting a big race. I dont want to add fuel to the fire about this horse due to the fact that my knowlage of the racing game is not great... but saying that ! there is never smoke without fire.... Shop around for best prices...... 66/1 bluesq
    Bump! Running later today
  7. Re: cash game hands

    the good the bad and it was ugly
    Indeed it was, but I think the $3,5k profit in the previous 2 hands was a nice cushion to fall back on :lol Downloading Virgin now in the hopes of catching your next session!
  8. Re: Ways To Qualify For the World Series FullTilt is probably the craziest, 180/315/360/630 player mtt's starting about every 1-2 mins. Winner only gets a seat to a 5k seater tournament. Top 9 move onto another 5k seater, top 2 win main event packages. Since they start so often about 60-70% of the players go all in first hand, so in effect you're playing a smaller tournament at the start. Anyway have fun trying :lol:ok

  9. Re: hand from a $300/$600 NLHE game - what hand do they have?

    ok the results. even though he get it the wrong way round, he managed to get closest to both hands the winner is Crouch Potato. Jimany got the 8/x but was nowhere enar the other hand, so runner up for him. here's the showdown lazaking shows [9c Tc] (Ace King high) giminezster shows [5d 8c] (a pair of Eights) giminezster wins the pot ($39,599.50) with a pair of Eights *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $39,600 | Rake $0.50 Board: [2s 8d Ac 3c Kh] Seat 1: giminezster (big blind) showed [5d 8c] and won ($39,599.50) with a pair of Eights Seat 2: lazaking (small blind) showed [9c Tc] and lost with Ace King high
    Stone-Cold Bluff was one of the hand predictions I said for lazaking :lol Crazy hand though, great call but I'd never have been able to make it!
  10. Re: cash game hands

    If that comes into it, then you're playing too high!!! (Which is why Mole is playing there and we're not!!! :tongue2) You can't be "scared money" at any level ..... the only consideration is how much it costs you to call as a proportion of the pot compared to the chance that you believe you have of winning the hand.....
    Ah I understand that mate alright, was talking that the $4,500 in relation to the average man's salary :lol but mole's getting the job done. Could be seeing him on an episode of High Stakes Poker soon enough if he keeps it up. $50 into that bankroll is just crazy though, have a buddy whose done something similar, think he's at $70k after losing 30 in a week, 15 of that being lost on a flopped house vs. quads :$
  11. Re: Another interesting game ...

    What cards would you need to call with? T-A? J-A?
    The kicker doesn't play mate
    Three players. Everybody starts by anteing $10. Each player is dealt just one card.
    I may write a program later when I'm boggled before the Milan game to see if I can find out some rough average winnings over # of hands for a few seating arrangements/player types. I would imagine the Maniac will have the best of it however with the constant betting
  12. Re: cash game hands Thanks for the thread mole :ok feel quite tingly reading through them :lol I don't think the previous hand was worth the call tbh, he was way overbet the pot, and you do only have TPTK, 5 handed? Quite possibly good but is it worth the risk? $4,600 is a lot of money to call with :loon Btw, where do you play? I wouldn't mind jumping on the mole bandwagon and giving you an extra audience member :lol

  13. Re: hand from a $300/$600 NLHE game - what hand do they have? Usually watching big ring games on FullTilt the play is absolutely shocking at this level, to the point where high cards are good a lot of the time. I'm going to go out on a limb and give these guys some respect and try to pick out their cards based on their play. Have a gut feeling lazaking might have the 4-5 but all will be revealed soon :lol Anyway here goes;

    No Limit Hold'em - 11:10:16 GMT - 2007/05/01 Seat 1: giminezster ($39,530.80) Seat 2: lazaking ($43,797.50) lazaking posts the small blind of $300 giminezster posts the big blind of $600 The button is in seat #2 *** HOLE CARDS *** lazaking raises to $1,200 Minimum raise HU, gonna narrow him down to small pair/2 picture cards/suited connectors/suited A or K giminezster calls $600 3/1 odds to call HU, not much he's going to throw away, can have any 2 cards here IMO. *** FLOP *** [2s 8d Ac] giminezster bets $2,400 He's called the initial minraise and bets out the pot, so he's either hit a pair and protecting it against the Ace, or representing the Ace itself hoping the flop has completely missed his opponent. 2 pair might also be an option, a set here is unlikely I think. lazaking calls $2,400 No raise? May well have a rag Ace and feel the pot bet was extreme, worried about kicker problems now. May also still have a small pair and not convinced his opponent hit that flop. Could be calling very weak for a gutshot with 4-5 also. Calling for the bluff on the turn is still very much open here too. *** TURN *** [2s 8d Ac] [3c] giminezster checks Check is quite weak here, discarding the possibility of him having an Ace and putting him on a 2 or an 8 lazaking bets $7,200 lazaking now takes control of the hand by betting the pot, has he improved? The 3 could've made him 2 pair, also not discounting the possibility of a set now and knowing his opponent will call him with any decent hand. giminezster calls $7,200 He's called a big bet on the turn, he might've picked up a flush draw with his pair and calling since he may possibly have more outs to hit, may also think he is still ahead in the hand. *** RIVER *** [2s 8d Ac 3c] [Kh] giminezster checks This check once again looks weak, it doesn't look like his hand has improved much, and if it has then may still feel he's behind, hoping for a free showdown. lazaking bets $9,000 Looks a very nice value bet, under 1/2 the pot. Could also be a bluff attempt, i'm putting him on either a bluff or 2 pair/trips, or does he have the nuts? giminezster has 15 seconds left to act Uh-oh! Time's running out, he's thinking! giminezster calls $9,000 Makes the call, is it good? He will have at least a pair, but not Aces, he may have 2 pair with a busted flush draw but nothing bigger. *** SHOW DOWN *** Possible Hands IMO: lazaking: A/3 K/3 3/3 4/5 Stone-Cold bluff giminezster: Kc/8c 2/x 8/x

  14. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge

    further edit (I'm gonna give up shortly) - never played razz but they look to be 8 seats too ? :unsure
    Yes Razz is same format as 7card. It is basically in effect just 7 card stud Lo.
  15. Re: Full tilt horse inside edge

    edit - ok so looking at the Full Tilt STT lobby 7 card stud are 8 seats and Hold'em are 9 seats - and I'm an idiot aren't I ? Not enough cards in the pack for 9 seats of stud are there ? !! :wall :$ :eyes
    Most likely the reason as if there was 9 players on the one table,if all players took all 7 cards that would = 63 card deck. They'll use a community card if they come close with less players. Congrats to fenners, run & VoJ. Only got to the FT after fenners had been knocked out, apologies VoJ for not wishing luck, had no idea who you were, was actually rooting for you to lose so run could win :lol
