  1. Re: Omfg - Jennifer Tilly!

You've confused me now Jimany... who's taking the piss out of who? They're two different people? Why are there so many blogs? Who's crying on Youtube if it's not the blog guy? And i thought playing Hold'em cash games were stressful :lol
I've confused myself too looking at it :rollin Blog above is from a genuine player, couldn't find the one he claims having.
This guy is class he's taking the piss big time and theres actually people posting about how bad a player he is. Funny as fcuk bet its worked better than he's ever imagined over 100' date='000 views, this guys a legend.[/quote'] I read quite a bit on it last night. "BuckLoX" is an acronym for "LuckBox" which most people are saying. And it does look set up. But I've also seen a webcam post from him nearly crying about the replies he's getting which looks genuine. Also he has a split view STT/webcam video of a 10 Seater on FullTilt. Alright the guy claims it's a "$1,000 SnG" which is a "no biggie" to him when it clearly is a play money SnG from the play in it. I would 100% agree with you that the guy was taking the piss bigtime too only for the fact that well, the guy doesn't look/sound clever enough to pull it off. You are probably right though.
  2. Re: Omfg - Jennifer Tilly!

Found this on one of his blogs: Guess I should forget to play more often Between sheer exhaustion from getting only 3 hrs sleep per night the last 5 nights because my little one has been running a fever, and the older one's First Communion yesterday, I forgot I was signed up for this:

Full Tilt Poker Tournament #17743613 $2,500 PPA Drive Freeroll NL Hold'emBuy-In:$0.00 1668 players Total Prize Pool: $2500.00 Start Date: May 6 10:41 PM ET Dear BigSlickNut, You finished the tournament in 296th place. There has been $3.12 added to your account. You have earned leaderboard points for this tournament. To view your current leaderboard points use the link in the Cashier window. Congratulations! Thank you for participating.

And you know that if I had showed up, I'd have found a way to bubble. He sums it up in the last line. I don't get why he plays then crys on youtube about it. I mean, at least i only cry on here after a loss :lol

Apologies! Started back at the start of the blog and thought I'd be in for some interesting reading, however... Seemed quite educated and a good player so I thought i'd keep skipping through till I found where it all went wrong, got the wrong person. He just thought "Bucklox" was really funny too and just linked him up on his blog. Gonna go look for his blog now, he did claim he had one so must try to find it. Was a bit sceptical seeing "BigSlickNuts" as the blog name, i mean he folds AJ/77 in the blinds yet reraises with 6/2 :rollin Will report back with my findings
  3. Re: Cash game hands

    Cheers Jimany.
Anytime, i'd like to see you hit your goal and start moving up levels. Just saw the QQ hand, on the come back already ;) Keep it up, just play the cards for the most part and you should be fine :ok Good luck :hope Btw, what site you playing? might take a wander in and have a look for a while...
  4. Re: Cash game hands Last one is bad luck but you gotta hold back on the bluffing mate. It is killing you, switch back to the tight play and you'll clean up pretty easy. Look at some of the hands that are calling you down!

  5. Re: Omfg - Jennifer Tilly! Was watching his third video there, he claims to have played Phil Ivey on full tilt and stacked him 4-5 times :lol. Unfortunately the video cuts out after 16 mins, would love to see the final 30 mins. He also charges $120 per hour for poker lessons. Any takers??? Anyone see the 2nd video? He's making a coke deal on AIM in the middle of the tournament :lol:lol:lol

  6. Re: Omfg - Jennifer Tilly! ROFLMAO Oh god start watching his 2nd video He has 8-4s first hand, 1 guy goes all in and he says "Thats telling me he has pocet deuces, and I dont wanna call there. Deuces has 8-4 suited dominated there, at least 93% of the time, and theres only 1% chance of the tie...I'm really into poker stats so I'm gonna give you guys some insight" :lol I LOVE his stats; "I've got 7-4 suited here, thats like 73% favourite against any random hand" Thank you so much George, I've got at least another 30 mins of watching his commentary

  7. Re: Omfg - Jennifer Tilly!

Couldn't stop laughing at this guy. Poker lesson part 1 Yeah - i'll be taking lessons from this guy.
Oh God!!! :rollin:rollin:rollin "I'm gonna go find some more noobs" :rollin:rollin:rollin I wanna play with him for real money! Just watched it again and couldn't stop laughing at the first hand; "Idiot probably has K7 or some crap like that and lucked out" 2 seconds later... "Ok so I have K7 here, you know it's a pretty good hand with the 7 kicker"
  8. Re: Paul Kemsley - Who is he???

remember watching this and even though Mouth went on tilt they must love mugs like this at the table lol
Definitely, you see the hand versus Tony G? PK keeps raising/reraising preflop and on the flop with JT, board is 4-5-6. Tony has Q-7. 90% of the chips go in on the flop, J on the turn, both players all in and Paul starts cribbing and moaning when a Q comes on the river complaining that Tony got lucky. Cheers for the info Joe btw, looks like he's just there for a bit of fun playing with the big boys.
  9. Been watching some of the FTP million dollar cash game on youtube and damn this guy is doing my head right in. Reraising with J-4/J-7, he can't seem to fold a hand. Gus is a tight player in comparison (& sitting on the same table). Sitting down with 7-8 top pro's and theyre trying to pick him off. He just sent Mattusow on major tilt when he beat his A-J with J-4. Looks like some novice with lots of money to burn. Anyone heard of him/know his story?

  10. Re: 10,000 Hand Review

8 tabling :loon I really struggle when I try to play on 4 different tables at the same time. How you manage to play twice that number at the same time is amazing. Does it come with practice? Does anyone else play more than 8 tables at the same time? McG :unsure
I remember watching a buildup to the WSOP, about 2-3 years ago. They were doing a take on Scott Fischman & his online poker. He multitables with 16 tables. Crazy as hell! :loon Think he was using 2-3 monitors at the same time, anyone here have dual monitors or more for online poker???
  11. Re: Should These Stats Inspire Confidence? It does inspire confidence yes. It shows the site(s) in question aren't rigged. Hands are dealt randomly, but over a prolonged period of time these should average out to each hand being dealt around the same amount. It's like tossing a coin 500k times (though your fingers would be pretty sore afterwards), you'd expect heads & tails to fall 2xx,xxx times each. If expected & actual are close to equal, it means there's no edge to anyone. I would love to see some stats on those hands being cracked however...

  12. Re: stats on bos

yes and I would think the reriase is the CR? Damo
Well a check-raise can be a raise or a reraise. Check - Bet - back to you and you raise Check - Bet - Raise - back to you and you reraise
  13. Re: stats on bos Only play STT's on Boss so thought i'd throw my stats up ere. Game Summary Games played: 1,758 Games won: 23% Flops seen: 31% Won without showdown: 74% Won with flops seen: 48% Showdowns won: 57% Actions Fold: 44% Check: 21% Call: 17% Bet: 9% Raise: 7% Re-raise: 0% Point Of Fold Fold before flop: 59% Fold on flop: 7% Fold on turn: 2% Fold on river: 1% No fold: 28% I think they mean Hand Summary by Game Summary yes? Also disappointed not to see a Check-raise statistic :sad

  14. Re: Bankroll Management I have a friend in a similar situation, though I feel stubborness is hampering him staying up there. He has lost ~90% of what he has gained due to playing limits too high and not dropping levels when he loses a large % of his bankroll. You've simply got to try to nudge him in the right direction. The 5% rule is good, but I feel is too risky (I'm an overly cautious player). If you can get him to continually sit down with no more than 5% of his bankroll in the one sitting it will reduce his losses. Ideally 1-2% would be my preferred stack to sit down with, this will create more stable profit and will prevent quite a bit of tilt since if you go bust you haven't lost a huge portion of your bankroll

  15. Re: cash game hands

played this bad but wouldnt have mattered, i hate aa
Ouch, yes wouldn't have mattered. I'm guessing he's pushing in no matter what. Now watching you play 5/10 :ok Good luck :hope
  16. Re: all opinions welcome

(which you will have about 60% of the time with 15 outs)
4 x 9 4 x A 9 x Clubs 17 outs no? Thinking optimistically you have an overcard too, so I will also count that as an out => 3 x K Therefore 20 outs with 2 cards to come being best possible scenario IMO.
  17. Re: Was not expected that! Well, Danish = Denmark. Denmark = Scandinavia. Scandinavian poker players cause lots of :cry:lol IMO I would've loved the board, but still would've played it cautiously, don't think there's any need to reraise all in on the river. His raise is sufficently large to set off the alarm bells.

  18. Re: all opinions welcome

ltdkk84 won the tourney and over 10k he called with second pair and 3 people behind him' date=' just goes to show you need the luck.[/quote'] Just reread the hand, he called half his stack to your raise preflop with JT. 'Luck' is an understatement, more like miracles needed :lol
  19. Re: all opinions welcome I wouldn't have made the raise preflop, but on that flop I would definitely be moving all in also. Open ended with the 2nd nut flush draw with 2 cards to come? MONSTER!!! I'll push everytime with it! Very unfortunate the nut flush draw was out there, but you still had outs, I think you were very unlucky in this hand, well played though :ok
