Re: Capital One Cup > December 17th & 18th
yeah and i dont understand why they would get it wrong since there is so much money on the line. I am not blaming the bookies but someone is going to profit big-time from this (and other such incidents). I dont believe in conspiracies theories but I reckon with all the sponsership money the whole system gets from the bookies, I think they people in-charge are usually too quick to give own goals than they should be (especially when a fancied player is involved such as lampard). Most bookmakers will have in their rules that they go by what the Press Association state, and they have it as an own goal Edit: I do agree it should be Lampard's though Sent from my GT-I9300 using PL Forum -
Re: Capital One Cup > December 17th & 18th
I dont know about you but from the highlights I think lampard got the last touch. (this video might help, especially around 30 sec in). The presenter even said that even if cattermole got the last touch, lampard was on target and hence the goal should be in lampards name. I am not baised, but just dont understand how people who had lampard as FGS wont feel robbed here. I doubt the bookies had to pay out much on borini being the FGS since he was not even in the starting lineup and is always substitued very late in the game. However, I reckon many people were on lampard. I watched the match and the commentator was adamant that it was lampard's goal. He went out of his way a bit to clarify why he felt that. So I just dont understand why the official site chose to list cattermole as the culprit. The radio said Lampard, but BBC website says own goal - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25312545 -
Re: Capital One Cup > December 17th & 18th Anyone know if the first goal was scored by lampard or not? I had a big bet on lampard to score first and I was jumping with joy when he did but the bookie has settled it as lost and as lee cattermole own goal.

Re: South Africa vs India - Test Series would have loved to bet on the first test but weather forecast is so bad, that the draw is the most likely outcome and would kill any non-match-outcome bets that i like to place usually.

Re: Capital One Cup > December 17th & 18th the question is do manc really want to be involved in this cup? they play barcelona around the same time that this cup's final is held. Its not like last season when they were not involved in cl. Personally, I dont think manc wants to be involved in this cup so I would be wary of backing them on the handicap and that too away from home. for me, the prices are spot on. no bet game atm

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > December 13th - 15th
Well' date=' just bad luck as you say. I was on bordeaux and lille too didn't took the handicap cause Evian screwed me big time last night so i played it safe. Anyways, both dominated as expected and that is the most important thing of all. Your analyzes were good mate, no worries. It is still football and one or 2 stupid moves can destroy your bet. Cu next weekend![/quote'] exactly, the analysis were spot on and +ev in the long run, so who cares if we didnt cover the handicap in the short run. overall, the weekend has just been a bad run. we had our good runs and now we got to get through this bad run. As long as we have more good runs than bad, we are ahead. see ya all next week. -
Re: Ligue 1 Orange > December 13th - 15th i agree meatman. really unlucky with both games. but such is football.

Re: Aston Villa v Manchester United > Sunday December 15th
yes thats the lineup. quite surprising indeed. For me , I just cant understand why moyes keeps leaving chico out?Is that definite starting for man U ? If so I am sickened by it. Seriously what is Moyes doing playing Giggs ? The man is 40. What is the point of this nonsense ? I would play Nani all day ahead of Giggs, and Zaha all day ahead of Cleverley. I can live with Nani's inconsistency, he is capable of opening up and turning a game. As for Cleverley, how he gets into the starting 11 is frightening. Another muddled garbage starting lineup from Moyes. -
Re: Aston Villa v Manchester United > Sunday December 15th weimann on the bench? wellback instead of chico? goes to show we really dont have a clue what the managers r up to

Re: Manchester City v Arsenal > Saturday December 14th
what do u think the correct score will be now that arsenal are putting out an aggressive team? Personally, i see lots of goals in this now. Maybe even some weird big correct score like 3:3City team: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Negrado Arsenal team: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott, Giroud The exact side I wanted to see from Arsenal. Even Monreal who has been doing very well when played recently comes in for Gibbs who hasn't performed in the last few weeks, didn't expect that at all. -

Re: Manchester City v Arsenal > Saturday December 14th
who was 1st and 3rd?Yeah I may have overreacted a little but the point still is that with his speed and ofc his goal scoaring ability you get an extra dimension to Gunners offence. Found a list based on some FIFA stats and according to that list Walcott is the 5 fastest footballer (Bale was 2 and Ronaldo 4) so perhaps your right:p Btw sry for bad drunken English. -
Re: Manchester City v Arsenal > Saturday December 14th fantastic post arsenalfh, but do u think arsenal will take the game to them? why wont arsenal play the possession game and be defensive like so many other teams who had the defensive mindframe when coming to etihad? see what worries me is that Arsenal against the bigger teams they have been found out, and even against Everton last week they were outplayed in the first half Arsenal’s record against the rest of the top 7 for the whole of last season and this season so far: P16 W4 D6 L6 A win percentage of just 25%. Compared to their results against the rest of the league for the same time period: P37 W28 D6 L3 A win percentage of 75.68%.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > December 13th - 15th
Sack of shyte. The first half was open and should've contained goals but then the match just closed up. I'll be back but its nights like tonight when I don't know why I actually bother sometimes. I should also stop betting overs' date=' lost 8 of my last 9 of them despite having a 16-13 seasonal record.[/quote'] french league is an unders league as u very well know but still 8 out of 9 loses is still a very bad run/luck. Might as well reconsider betting overs and stick to asians only on french league. Personally, I have noticed especially high amount of 0:0 in french games too. onwards and upwards -
Re: Ligue 2 > December 13th - 16th
