1/4! Hull didn't deserve to lose by 2 but no complaints otherwise.
-2.8pts. There's always next week.

Mansfield @3/4 are my nap. They are in great form and hartlepool are poor and woefull away from home. Can't see anything other than a home win for mansfield.

Morecambe have picked up again recently and are unbeaten in their last 5. 2 of those were draws against Doncaster who are top and Carlisle who are 3rd. Cambridge on the other hand have lost their last 3. In terms of teams news, Morecambe have a full squad to choose from with no injury worries including midfielder Andy Fleming who is back from suspension. Right back Brad Halliday is out for Cambridge and although Barry Corr is due to return from a long-term injury they wont risk him today I dont think.
Morecambe 3/1 looks good value to me.
Nice picks. 4-0 and 2-0 respectively.

Arsenal v Hull - Hull +2 @ 2.0
Hull are coming off a great win against Liverpool and managed to keep a clean sheet at Old Trafford ten days ago - don't see them getting thumped here. Arsenal may edge out the win but they'll be jittery and the longer they go without scoring the worse the crowd will get.
Middlesbrough v Everton - Everton @ 2.10
Not much to like about this Boro side, no win in their last 7 PL games. Backed them heavily to go down at 3/1 a few weeks ago. Everton are in fine form and if Lukaku turns up he'll be the best player on the pitch by a mile.
Sunderland v Southampton - Sunderland @ 3.80
Feels like too much value to pass up. Sunderland and the SoL ought to be buzzing coming off that cracking away win and these home fixtures against middling sides are where they're going to have to start picking up points if they're to escape yet again. Southampton have lost their last three PL away days to Everton, Burnley & Swansea.
Stoke v Crystal Palace - U2.5 Goals @ 1.7
Allardyce will have been furious after last week's debacle and I imagine Palace will have worked on little else but being a tighter defensive unit this week. Meanwhile only 1 of Stoke's last 6 games has reached the over in this market. Predict a cagey, low-scoring affair.
The Accumulator @ 27
1pt on each single, 0.5pt on the accumulator. Took these prices on B365 a couple of days ago. Good luck all.

Everton looked to have been the most popular bet in this thread and they're ahead in the first minute.

Re: BBOTD - Sunday 24th June
17:10 Pontefract Byronic Hero - CD winner as a 2yr old who also beaten by a nose at CD in maiden auction. Ended year off a mark of 79 last year. Had 2 runs over 7F this season and nothing to show for it. Back to 6F today with CD behind him on a mark of 72 wearing blinkers 1st time. 0.5EW 14/1 Victor chandler.
Great tipping :clap5:15 Gowran Park - Peking to Paris Both trainer and jockey have a great record in national hunt flat races and the stable's in form. Just one ride for the young jockey today and he's been the sole navigator of Peking To Paris on all three previous rides of the 7yo. Should relish the heavy ground. 6/1 will hill - win -
Re: Jump Racing - Sunday 24th June Nice call, George :)

Re: Flat racing 4th June
Nice one, mate. Bossed it.17.50 Carlisle: Fastnet Storm @ 8/1 Bet365 He hasn't been really successful for quite a long time now, his last good performance came almost a year ago, a 2nd place in a class 4 Handicap at Ripon. Since then he finished usually well beaten, with the result that he's down to a career lowest mark now. His reappearance after a break recently at Haydock was far from encouraging as he's been well beaten again. He probably needed that run, though. Fastnet Storm likes to race prominently or even from the front and with no confirmed front-runner in this field he might get a chance for a soft lead. This race looks not the strongest anyway and therefore he could go well from a very dangerous mark. -

Re: BBOTD 12th May
Nice one, bud. Just saw and booked this at 4:34.Moretta Blance 4:35 Ascot 8-1 (B365) Two wins over 7f on different ground to today's doesn't sound too great, but first time out might be the time to ctach this horse. Beckett yard going well and am sure this stiff 6F on soft will feel llike 7F anwyay. -
Re: Flat Racing 16th April (Windsor & Wolverhampton)
Very impressive! :notworthySome good handicaps tomorrow at Windsor and i quite fancy a few. 4.30 The ground is the only worry with Zafeens Pearl (15/2 VC) but it's unfair to dismiss her with only 4 runs to date where she's gone ok on a couple of occasions. Based on her run lto she looks very well handicapped and being drawn stall 1 in this big field handicap with a decent pace looking likely i think she'll go very close as long as the ground isnt a problem. Savered on Uncle Fred and Benandonner as well. 5.00 I like two here but think there's big value in Sugar Beet (20/1 Ladbrokes) who's dropped back to 5f where all her best form has come. Recently been running in some decent races on the all weather over 6f and hasnt been disgraced. Dropped a couple of pounds, only 2lbs above her last win with ground conditions not a problem. Has been progressing for the last year and definitely worth a bet at 20/1 for that to continue. Also Escape To Glory (7/1 VC) has looked in need of the drop to 5f in his last two starts and should be capable off a mark of 79. Ground conditions fine and Will Buick booked a big run looks expected. Both of these well drawn and without traffic problems i think they'll go close. 5.30 Reset City (7/1 WH) is still lightly raced and has gone well since joining Ian Williams. Unlucky lto to run into an obviously very well handicapped Johnston runner in a race not run to suit. This bigger field should ensure a decent gallop and with ground/distance fine she should go well with SDS booked. Also think Timocracy (20/1 Bet365) should go well for the in form Alastair Lidderdale yard with Leona Mayor taking a valuable 7lbs off putting this one well handicapped in my eyes. Improved for his reappearance lto not beaten a massive distance running into some well handicapped rivals and may be able to grab the lead here. Suits to be prominent around here and having won over C&D i think he could go well at a price. -
Re: BBOTD - Monday 16th April 2012
Just caught this one at the last too. Well done! :)17.30 Windsor: Timocracy' date= 9/1 Bet365 , 1pt win Timocracy has run well in both his runs at Windsor, both over c&d, winning once and finishing second. Ground is ok, 12f is his best distance but the draw is a slight worry as he will have to work at the start to get in front. This is trainer Alastair Lidderdale's sole runner of the day and talented young jockey Leonna Mayor travels to Windsor for this one ride. -
