  1. Anyway ... Kubot to beat karlovic and goffon to beat young. Kubot has a 3-0 winning head to head against ivo and infavt pnly just veat him last week in straights, kubot has more penetrating groundstokres and provided he stays solid with hos serving should come through on this one. Ivi hasn't impressed ne much lately either. I'm gonna go for goffin to do the business on young who just hasn't been doing the business this season so far. His serve has been woeful and I giffun gets a lot of balls back and I can see young getting frustrated and going for too much and just missing. 13/8 on this as a double 7/10 confidence Sent from my HTC Desire S using PL Forum

  3. Thing is once you start marking down erratic players you basically end up ticking off 90 % of the ATP tour. Giraldo is a humungous clown as well' date=' rarely makes it easy for himself, apart from today of course. As I said last week there is new pattern developing, new form lines taking shape. Just don't know what they are yet. Best to give the rest of Miami a swerve I think, the showbiz of it is too tempting though. The matches in the Challenger event in Bath are way more predictable, but where is the fun in betting on matches played in gymnasiums in Bath?[/quote'] I played in a university tournament in bath .. that sane court Jamie baker won on today, reached the second round losing to a 3.1.. the courts are in amazing condition. 4. Andujar went way out to something like 3.10 just before the match apparently so something may have been up with him' date=' not sure. Really got to be more selective from now on, although I said that last week :D[/quote'] Or the best of tennis punters has the sudden struck in thought they he's a streaky player and giraldo being so clutch. I'm marking down these eratic players .. andujar and chardy are wt the top of my list ... Belluci too. Didn't touch any of them, chatty I expect to fk up too. Sent from my HTC Desire S using PL Forum
  5. Re: 5th March - 11th March ATP, Indian Wells Round 2 Qualifier - Phau vs Goulbev - Phau to Win @ 4/6 with Paddy Power - 9.5/10 Phau has been in tremendous and I mean tremendous form and IMO is by far the more talented player .. when he's on song he really is on song, he's more experienced and is more times than not a solid server with a good clutch baseline game, big points, this guy plays them well. Goulbev is an erractic player and this is erratic during a match, not between matches. NO CHANCE. Going big on this one here. :D

  6. Re: Tennis: 19th-26th February ATP, RMK Championships - Benjamin Becker vs Dudi Sela - Benjamin Becker to Win @ 5/4 with Paddy Power - 7.5/10 B, Becker looked EXTREMELY impressive in the recent tournaments since coming back from injury, I've seen him and its been literally top 50 tennis, IMO, the bloke seems intent on capitalizing on his best surface in aid help of getting his ranking up. Sela is over-rated IMO, don't rate the bloke tbh, mediocre, looks good against mediocre shite, can't single out any big wins he's had recently. Should be fairly easy in the end.

  7. Re: Tennis: 19th-26th February ATP, RMK Championships - Kevin Anderson vs Robbie Ginepri - Kevin Anderson to Win 2-0 @ 6/5 with Coral - 8/10 Robbie won't be able to break Kevin's serve, no chance, might scrape a few deuce games, but that's tops, Ginepri, Robbie, the bloke can barely hold his own serve for 3 games in a row against opposition of a lesser standard, he's not going to get away with going through an entire set against Anderson on an indoor surface holding serve, not even for one set. Ginepri is a headcase, he plays better when behind and often throws away breaks immediately, Anderson is much the more talented and more cool, calm and collected when it matters. TALENT + CLUTCH = STRAIGHT SETS FOR ME.

  8. Re: Tennis: 19th-26th February ATP, Marseille - Mannarino vs Goffin - Goffin to Win @ 6/5 with BetVictor - 7/10 You have got to be kidding me? Bookies and punters alike seem to be infactuated with this whole nonsense that each and every player whom plays on home turf is going to win, no I don't believe in that bollocks. Mannarino is a flipping joke, what a disgrace of a tennis player he is, he puts the game to shame, much like the British pair of twatish boxers a few days back. If he isn't feeling up to it, he will capitulate ... the amount of times this dude self destructs, its ridiculous. The way he performed in Montpellier 2 weeks back against Russel was shockingly bad and I don't see why he won't pull the same stunts for a consecutive match in his home Country against in my opinion a relatively more talented player. Goffin, the kid is on the rise, relatively good sort of decent I guess form and its been predominantly on the indoor hard surfaces, he will push get everything back Mannarino throws out there and the Frenchman will jus implode. Logic based on rankings and home suggests Mannarino, reading between the lines however suggests otherwise. ;) :D

Wawinka to beat the worst player ever on big points 2-0 at 8/11 with paddypower. Stan doesn't lose sets to players of this ilk and mental fraility on clay, he jus doesn't. Stakes an 8/10 Sent from my HTC Desire S using PL Forum
Little bit too easy ... also took 9/5 on 2-0 during the first set after Zeb fluked a break of serve. :D
  10. Re: Tennis: 13th February to 19th February

ATP' date= SAP Open - Round 2, Michael Russel vs Thomas Istomin - Thomas Istomin to Win @ 5/6 with BetFair - 8/10 Farily confident with this one, Istomin is a admittedly a streaky player and right now he's well above his sub-par game. He's been really pounding his ground-strokes lately and it fills me with confidence in the belief he'll prove to much for Mr Russel tomorrow. On top of this he's been serving relativley well, I expect him to dominate from the back of the court and have no problems putting the American away, who although always provides a solid performance, VERY RARELY produces inspirational tennis. Russel is the type of player that only ever beats players more talented than him when they are in a bad rut, he capitalizes and does what it says on the tin. Efficient tennis I am afraid for him is not going to be enough course of action tomorrow against Istomin and unlike Donald stupid Duck, Istomin will put the ball away and not gift Michael with easy points with unforced errors.
    100% for the day :D
  11. Re: Tennis: 13th February to 19th February

ATP' date= Brasil Open - Round 2 - David Nalbanidan vs Giles Simon - Davis Nalbandian to Win @ 3/4 with 10Bet - 8/10 Nalbandian is one of the biggest talents around, still, his shot making capabilities are ridiculous and he has the wit on court to match those skills. Simon hasn't played a single match on clay since, last July and considering Nalby's had a good two matches on the surface already, I'd make him favourite here EASILY. He outshone Florian Mayer in the Davis Cup match just gone by in 4 sets and dispatched of Paire with no problem really. People are fooled into believing Simon is made for clay but he's not, its a complete myth, so he can get the ball back? So what? The fact he has no real offensive qualities in his tennis repertoire leaves himself fked in rallies, on clay you need to be fit and consistent yes, but you also need a weapon to open up an opportunity for dictating a rally too. Unlike Simon, Nadlbandian has a weapon, infact he has many a weapon and great hustle too, that with the respectable form he's been in and the fact I Simon hasn't been at his pushing best, I can only see one winner here. Should be fairly comfortable too.
    Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nana:nana:ok:clap:p
  12. ATP' date= Rotterdam - Round 2 - Gasguet to Win 2-0 @ 5/6 with Ladbrokes - 7/10 Under general circumstances, I'd say this was a risk, but with the absolute shite Bogomolov has been displaying since that loss to Llodra @ the Australian Open in 5 sets I am not hestitating here. Its also on indoor hard ... so Gasguet shouldn't have toomany worries on his serve tbh. Bogomolov has little to no motivation right about now, Gasguet is aspiring to make it into the top 10 and really wants to relinquish the potential he has, he knows its about time now. More talented player, with the more greater motivation, in the more better form. Should be fine.
