Blair House....from Charlie Appleby yard I did him in at Ascot when got caught near line by Zhui Feng beaten 1/2 length , they do battle again today with both hit with a rise in weights and handicapper hitting them 5lb Blair House and Zhui Feng 6lbs,

He was gelded in October last year and had 8 months winter break to get ready for that run at Ascot, He's had 44 days since last race and the 4yo should be a lot fitter , stronger and have scope for more improvement, He's been successful twice at 1m on good to firm and good to soft ground and in seven races to date has saw him only out of first two once at Newmarket 1m GF when 10th.

The yard bring William Buick back into ride as he won on him in his first race on a racetrack as 3yo last year

I did Billesdon Bess who won yesterday from Richard Hannon yard and he saddles Billesdon Brook ....today another filly 2yo who's ran five times already four on Turf and a AW race two races back at Kempton 7f standard/slow winning by 6 lengths , Her Turf runs saw three runs before that AW win all placed two 2nds and 3rd with one of those 2nds coming here over 6f in only 2nd race on racetrack ,

Her 4th Turf race came 7 days ago at Sandown 7f good to soft when she finished 3rd beaten only a neck committed for home before furlong pole and was caught in last few stride by another Hannon horse Tajaanus with 2nd place Capomento splitting the Hannon horses , Billesdon Brook is up a 1lb for that neck defeat with Sean Levey keeping the ride

Prendergast Hill....from E De Giles yard the 5yo has been successful twice at 1m 2f on good to firm and good to soft ground but this season after four runs although placed in each race two 3rd and two 2nd place finishes ,

Although they say its a 1m 4f race in fact the distance is 1m 3f.197y a distance that Prendergast Hill ran at in first race this season at Kempton AW where he was only beat a head was running on inside final furlong but just got piped on line by Captain Peacock,

He's been running off the 80 mark without a claimer in saddle but yard bring in a good claimer in Callum Shepherd who claims 3lb off and see him running 5lb off his last winnable mark

Tommy Taylor....from Kevin Ryan yard the 3yo has only had the one run this season and it was here over the Rowley mile course he travelled well and headway, he hung right after he also lost his balance on the downhill section but ran on again to finish 3rd beaten 4.5 lengths by Victory Angel who they meet again today.

He's been a winner at 7f on good to firm ground as 2yo but yard was late in starting after yard was closed down this year they've had 84 days since that last run so hopefully with the extra training they can get back on track , Jockey Tom Eaves been in saddle in 5 of the last six runs and in saddle today and is better weighted to reverse the placings with Victory Angel,

I did Clemmie for the 2000 Guineas 2018 @ 25/1 Anti Post couple of months ago so got to go today for Clemmie...from A P OBrien yard the 2yo only had the one run on her racecourse debut at Curragh over 6f good - yielding when beaten a neck , She finished 7th at Royal Ascot beaten 4.75 lengths but was 3rd in far side group that finished 1st and 2nd in race I would think good to firm didn't suit and I would expect a better run today with a bit of cut in ground with Ryan Moore in saddle"

He comes here after running 43 days ago at Hamilton 1m 4f GF when he won by short head and the step up will not be a problem although he 8lb higher that last years run here , Jim will have worked at home with horse and the booking of Paul Mulrennan here again suggest this was a long term target for Jim as he has a good strike rate in big races over the border to get in frame at big price,

Birchwood.....from Richard Fahey yard for the Godolphin set up the 4yo has won four times from 5f to 7f on ground varying from good to firm to soft but his last win was last year in June at Chester 7f soft in class 1 race the yard had the visor on for 1st time where he won by a length but since then the next race visor on again and a poor run 7th of 8 runners so since then visor was scrapped and back with nothing on for next four race and all poor runs ,

The only good thing is his ratings have came down since that last win in class 1 listed race 113 to 105 he runs off today and a drop back to class 2 and going in Handicap , The yard also have Blinkers on for first time hopefully get the same result when they tried the visor for first time , Jockey James Doyle is in saddle again and has won on him before

Red Galileo....from Saeed bin Suroor yard for the Godolphin set up the 6yo been successful at 1m on good ground for Ed Dunlop yard before change to Saeed bin Suroor in January 2016 but the horse was not seen until January 2017 when he appeared in a Meydan race over 1m 6f good where led going into final furlong and stayed on to win by a neck with Christophe Soumillon in saddle ,

The yard kept him in Meydan for a 2m race and 1m 6f race again, the two race came in the February where a 3rd over 2m and 7th place in a group 3 race beaten 12 lengths but Saeed bin Suroor other horse Beautiful Romance who won the race, I would think they where happy to get those 3 runs by Red Galileo in a two month spell after a year out of the limelight ,

With yard having him back in UK and dropping back to Handicap Stakes race and coming fresh again after 4 month break he could find the frame at a big price with Pat Cosgrave in saddle
