Some players you can take a firmer view on (in terms of when they are likely to come on) and give a higher goal expectation to, Weghorst being a prime example. But I’d only bet by exception and make sure I managed the position on the exchange. On this occasion being prudent did me. Fancied the 9s but didn’t take it, cancelled my request (with the 5p matched) when the clock hit 75 minutes. Tournaments like this probably the main time I’d even consider such a bet.

Recent form for scoring from off the bench is really good. Saw 9/1 for him to come on and score as a pre-game bet but was wary of him coming on really late so went down the exchange route instead.

Artur Manuel Ribeiro Soares Dias will be in charge of the game  and to say he's trigger happy about the cards would be an understatement. He averages 5.19 yellows per game (league and internationals). In 2023 he featured in 3 Euro qualifiers where he dished out 5, 7 and 8 yellows. These 7 cards he handed out in the Poland vs Moldova game. 
Will we struggle without Lewandowski? We might but it could actually work in our favour where the squad should work as a team rather than one star player + 10 minnows. In recent games Lewandowski often drifted towards the middle in order to create chances so in the Polish squad he stopped being a direct threat in the box.
Szczęsny might be our single silver lining today, he's matured enough but our two rusty center backs will provide him with plenty of action in the penalty area. 
Koeman mentioned the Dutch captain will be the pen taker so sudenly van Dijk price looks big. You might look for Dijk tournament tally >1.5 @10 and that price also seems attractive.

Fingers crossed for the 2-0 as I'm on that at a boosted price of 7 with MGM. Perversely I'm also backing Albania to win at 13.25 - I just think that's too big. I felt the same about Scotland and they got flattened but that's the way the cookie often crumbles at big odds. It only takes a winner or two though before you're ahead and they do happen.

Frattesi to score at 21/5. Not a system bet but I like his recent numbers. I like Pellegrini as well but his price evaporated in front of my eyes. Chiesa was also value at his opening price but has gone the wrong way. Effectively got a £2 single on him at 29/10 (did some early price doubles and had a non-runner) but short enough now. Not done a great job with betting on results so far (Hungary and the draw in the Spain game) so will get back in my lane in that respect but Italy should win this. 2-0 seems more likely but could be more impressive if they score early.

Wondered if the penalty was what did you. Keeper saved it guy crossed it and the penalty taker stuck it in but the guy who crossed had encroached into the area before the kick was taken. Had it come earlier one of my guys would have probably taken it and put it way!
