  1. Re: Epsom - 07/06/08 Im going for Casual Conquest for the win, connections have supplemented it to run so I think thats a tip in itself. Im having a good e/w on the godolphin horse ( cue moans of no shit sherlock;)) but at 22/1 its too big to leave. Absolutly awesome over a mile and a GP1 winner , despite reports of him not staying im willing to take that gamble. Connections must know if he can stay and wouldnt run it if he can't. There wont be many times you get 22's for a godolphin runner, even if they are yet to fire. 10pts win Casual Conquest 5pts e/w Rio De La Plata

  2. Re: bets for euro 2008

What about under 9 red cards 8/11. No way will there will be that many in 31 games surely :unsure

  3. Re: bets for euro 2008

How does that compare against the number of penalties in previous tournaments? Not sure where you can get the stats for that. I would think there would be at least 5' date=' as think there will be at least 1 in each of the 4 groups and an extra one in there somewhere. I would say 7 penalties throughout the whole tournament excluding penalties but that's just my prediction.[/quote'] Not sure regarding the figures and no doubt the stat guys at Coral have done their job but it does seem a low count.
  4. Re: bets for euro 2008 Also at 12/1 Croatia (Each Way 1/2 The Odds A Place 1-2) are a big price considering they are unbeaten bar 1 game in 11 matches.

Up until the end of qualifying for UEFA EURO 2008™, Croatia had appeared in the UEFA European Championship on four occasions, and had played 47 matches. In that time, they had won 28, drawn eleven and lost eight with 86 goals scored and 38 conceded
  5. Re: bets for euro 2008 Me and my manager went through some of the specials that we have at Coral last night. One of them really makes appeal is Euro 2008 - Total Penalties Excluding Shootouts. Over 8.5 @ 5/6 whats your thoughts on this guys? ( 9 pens through out the whole tourney )

  6. Quite like the look of Plum Pudding at 6/1 in the 4.05 Done all of its winning here over a mile but judging from is recent runs he will appreciate the slight drop in trip. Also takes a slight drop in class. He was a decent animal last year and at 6/1 he's a solid e/w.

  8. Re: Chelsea v Manchester United - Champions League Final on Wed 21/5 If he does go with 1 up front then Rooney will be fustrated at not getting the ball, he'll drift back into midfield rather than stay up top. Rooney to be shown first card is 11/1 Betfred. Might be worth a few quid. Apart from a few scorecasts there's not much value in any of the markets. I do think that Utd will lift the trophy 8/11 so I'll go for 1-0 cover the 1-1 with Ronaldo, Giggs ,Scholes tsf. Regarding the match itself I think its going to a shite match for us to watch, if your a fan its going to be a nailbiter. Both teams from an away perspective dont score many goals.

  9. Re: York - Thursday 15th May New Seeker 3.10 York Lang Shining is up 7lb for a nk win LTO and Blythe Knight is 14lb heaver than Lang Shining and 13lb heavier than when landing this 12 months ago. New Seeker is back on a very handy mark and will relish the drying ground, he is better over 7f's but he does have the CD to his name. P Cole knows how to get them ready after a long lay off and at 10/1 he's worth a punt. Early Price: 10/1

  10. Re: York - Thursday 15th May had a good result yesterday with the Godolphin tip coming in at 6/1. I managed to get on at 13/2 so lets hoping I can carry it on for today.:hope Centennial 2.40 York This is all about Twice Over but Im not touching it at odds on, although he's won at this trip it was only a class 2 and he was odds on for that. He pulled clear but Im not too sure the rivals were anything special. He did beat Ravens Pass LTO in the Craven but that was over a mile, he's up 25lbs in the ratings for a shorthead win and Cecil has been worried about the ground. Although he must be happy this am or he'd not run it. Centennial kicked off with a 3rd to Ravens Pass back in July last year at Yarmouth then scored over a mile next time out at Newmarket to shed its maiden tag. Then went in again at Newbury in the Haynes, Hanson & Clark Conditions Stakes over a mile staying on well. Ran well in french group 3 to finish 2nd after a busy late summer. He returned after the winter with a fine win at Sandown over todays trip (found extra and kept on gamely when strongly pressed towards finish), that was after 196 days off the track. He's going to improve no end and I think he will outstay Twice Over. 11/2

  11. Re: Group C Pinnacle,

Group C – Who Will Survive the Group of Death? Ever since the draw was made back in December, Euro 2008’s Group of Death has been the subject of lengthy debate as to who will emerge from among France, Italy, Holland and Romania. The Euro 2008 betting at PinnacleSports.com has Italy as 2.700* favourites ahead of France 3.040* and Holland 3.740*, with Romania considered outsiders at 12.080*. Without a crystal, ball the best bettors can do is take the 60% better Euro 2008 betting odds available at PinnacleSports.com, then wait for the first Group C games on June 9th. The Azzurri have experienced a transitionary phase since winning the 2006 World Cup, as have Les Bleus’ ageing squad, while the Dutch have flattered to deceive once too often to be relied on. Romania shouldn’t be forgotten in all this, especially with Fiorentina’s form striker, Adrian Mutu; they showed in a recent 3-0 win over Russia that they are a dark horse that could easily sneak up the rails.
  12. Re: Group B Pinnacle

Group B – German’s Fancied to Cruise Into Knock-out Phase Having approached the 2006 World Cup as unfancied hosts, Germany surpassed expectations reaching the semi-finals, and winning over a sceptical public. That momentum continued into Euro 2008 qualification under Joachim Low, and a little-changed squad who at 1.662* top the Euro 2008 Group B betting at PinnacleSports.com. The Germans qualified with the highest goals tally, but were beaten to the top of Group D by the Czech Republic, who inflicted their only defeat – though qualification was by then already assured. The national team recently celebrated its 100th anniversary with a 4-0 win over co-hosts Switzerland, where three goals from the strike-pairing of Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose underlined the duo’s potency.
