  1. Re: UEFA > Champions League > 24th - 25th August

The strangest penalty shoot-out I have ever seen in the Anderlecht - Partizan game, Anderlecht kicked three penalties that wouldn't have gone in if they had two goals on top of each other! The pitch has cost them £15m..the Partizan goalkeeper is an utter clown, if they play him against better sides they will get murdered, well either of these teams are likely to get murdered! Poor defensively both of them.. Sorry know this doesn't really belong here, just wanted to make my point!
true, if Partizan plays against big teams with this goaly I think we can put our money on a nice AH in favour of the others...
  2. Re: UEFA > Champions League > 24th - 25th August

Maybe Anderlecht didn't show anything but what we must say about Partizan performance then and playin at home??? just awful but still the better chances were for Anderlecht....they played with a very defensive approach but still managed to score 2 goals. At home Anderlecht is a different team playin in 4-3-3 with big pressing, this time we can expect a good pitch not like in Belgrade. Also good news is that Biglia and Legear are back in the squad and it's always good for the team....probable line up is : Proto, Gillet, Mazuch, Juhasz, Deschacht, Kouyaté, Marecek, Polak, Boussoufa, Suarez, Lukaku. I took HW @ 1.7 in local with good stake GL
any news on Legaer and Lukaku?? Because I know Lukaku has troubles with his knees, if Legaer is fit to play I think perhaps he'll play and Suarez go to the centre in place of Lukaku...
  3. Re: UEFA > Champions League > 24th - 25th August

Anderlecht versus Partizan Partizan sold some important players in this transfer window: -> regular centre back Kneżevic -> extremely important left fullback Lomic who was useful in attack (3 goals & 12 assists in 25 games!!) -> first goalkeeper Bozovic -> one of two best strikers Lamine Diarra (14 goals & 8 assists) -> forward who was used in rotation system - Brana Ilic (not so important, but when Diarra left the team Ilic would be very useful) They did not buy any special player. They have money from players who were sold (over 4 millions euro), but did not spend that money at all. On the other hand Anderlecht bought only 22 years old forward centre Chavarria, but almost all important players stay at the club. The only important player who left team is left fullback Jelle van Damme.
I think you didn't do your research as good as you should've done.. Anderlecht bought more players then only Chavarria... Lecjaks is a new defender Anderlecht bought to play on the leftback if needed. He scored the anderlecht own-goal in Partizan Kljestan is an american midfielder who played a couple of matches for Anderlecht this season and scored a few goals aswell.. last new name at anderlecht is Barrios, but I don't think he played games for Anderlecht yet... so there is more then 1 new name! Anderlecht is playing defensive football in european away games, but at home they'll play a 4-3-3 system. They'll probably still miss Biglia who's a very important player for Anderlecht, but Polak is back and he has to lead the midfield now. Anderlecht will be strong at home, I can assure you that! Losing and missing the champions League would be a disaster for anderlecht! They really MUST qualify for the group stage of champions league football, and I believe they will. I don't see partizan making any chance of winning in Anderlecht actually... I would even consider taking anderlecht -1 AH this game, but the only question is will Lukaku play? He's a very important player to anderlecht surely now other striker De Sutter is injured. Nevertheless a lot of the midfielders can score goals for anderlecht aswell + defense is very strong in the air what could be dangerous on free kicks or corner kicks. Juhasz to score (with an header) is also a possible bet perhaps....
  4. Re: UEFA Champions League > 3rd - 4th August for the people who want to bet on Anderlecht: the whole midfield is injured. Biglia, Kouyaté won't play. Kanu isn't fit either... Probably Kljestan (scored in the first match) and marecek will play midfield... 3rd midfielder is a question... perhaps Saré or perhaps anderlecht will switch to 4-4-2 with boussoufa and Legaer on flanks and De sutter and Suarez in front.

  5. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th July Well, Polak won't play for Anderlecht because he's goin towards Turkey. Anyone can tell me something about Kiev's team? I think Gent will play defensive. Dury is a coach who plays a defensive 4-3-3 with a lot of attention to switching from defense to attack... It's not really counterfootball in Belgium, but in Kiev I suspect them to play really on the counter.... That's why I'm concidering a -2.5 on this game...

  6. Re: UEFA Europa League > 29th April I keep with my statement. Liverpool is not good enough without Torres. Ok, sure they have a chance to win it, but Atletico @ 6 I cant refuse... I really give them a chance winning thisone. Another bet is +2.5.. I really think atletico will score @ anfield, so Liverpool will have to score 3 times if they want to qualify... +2.5 it is!

  7. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th April

thank god someone else saw that... that was utter disgraceful for getting him red carded, yes he should have been booked and sent off eventually but the play from barca was piss poor from what im used to seeing from them... inter deserved to go through to the final...
True, Barca wasn't good in Milan and came up short today... You can't suspect inter to go and play attacking football in Barcelona, sure not when they are with only 10...
  8. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th April

Inter is one of the few Italian teams that still can play cattenachio. With a 3-1 advantage of the home game they will play this kind of game. Don't forget they also played this in Chelsea, and with succes!! as said above Samuel and Lucio are strong central defenders. They must be able of keeping Zlatan out of the game. in their midfield they got strong defensive midfielders. Cambiasso is one of the best defensive midfielders. Stong in interceptions and tackling, bit less in build-up play. Next to him there will be Motta who is also strong in defensive skills and someone who won't doubt to take the yellow card if it's in the team's benefit. Then there is still Pandev who is doubtfull. If he doesn't play it won't suprise me if the special one puts Zanetti in midfield and Chivu as left defender. (play with 2 strikers) Inter still is strong on the counter. Milito is good at scoring, Sneijder (if he plays) is good on set pieces and Eto'o is fast. Inter has a great chance defending and looking to counter. The opening minutes will be crucial I think, but Under 2.5 goals at 2.50 with an defensive inter I just can't refuse...
:nanamy line up was correct and my -2.5 aswell :clap:nana

  10. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th April

I would consider taking Barcelona, though its gonna be a difficult match for them against smart tactical playing Inter Milan. But there is one thing, which makes me quite sure of seeing Barca winning this match (not speaking about getting into final - just the simple win) and that is the huge pitch in Barcelona. Just have a look at how Barca did play away, and at home in previews legs. I think draw to Stuttgart, draw to Arsenal away from home. Big wins each at home later on. I see Barca winning this, but it may be a win which wont help them to get into final. :)
all things will depend on a early goal here I think. Inter is going to play the same game they played against Chelsea... I think Inter is defensively and tactical a strong team. That's why a -2.5 is the most obvious choise to me...
  11. Re: UEFA Europa League 22nd April

Hello I am from Germany and i am surprised nobody mentioned the rumours inside the team of Hamburger SV. It was in the newspapers and on tv here nearly every day. After the recent results in bundesliga the pressure on coach Bruno Labbadia is very high and some people say this might be his last match as coach of Hamburger because the relation between him and the team is really bad. Furthermore there was an argue between the goalkeeper and the coach. Of course motivation should be very high and Hamburg is strong at home but after watching last games in bundesliga the team seems not very strengthened at the moment especially in defense. They conceded nearly in every game in Euro League at least one goal. Maybe it should be a narrow win for Hamburg but i cant see them winning to nil. But i dont really trust them at the moment and that Fulham is able to score in away games they showed in each of their last five games in the Europa League so i will go for: Fulham to score @ 1,65 Gamebookers
I think if you're confident Fulham will score you'd better place your bet on both teams to score because Hamburg will score at least 1 goal...
  12. Re: UEFA Europa League 22nd April Hamburger SV - Fulham 1 (10/10) I saw their homegame against Standard and Anderlecht. They really want to reach this final in their own stadium and at home they are very strong. Fulham away isn't the strongest team you can have + they had a long trip to Germany: can't be good either! Atletico Madrid - Liverpool I'm still in doubt... I think I'll go for an home win, but perhaps Both teams to score is also a good bet? If Torres was fit I would've taken that one but I really think Ngog sucks... Must be better options for Liverpool (kuyt infront or something??) so I still don't know. Hope to read some advice here :dude

  13. Re: UEFA Europa League 8th of April

LIVERPOOL - BENFICA over 2.5 @ 8/11 (Ladbrokes) Also going with OVR 2.5 in all four of tonights fixtures. £20 to win £133 i consider an alright bet, GL!
I don't know.... seems a difficult call... In the Liverpool game I don't think there will be a over 2.5 actually, and the atletico-valencia game can go either way...
  14. Re: UEFA Europa League 8th of April I think a win of wolfsburg is a nice bet. Also to qualify but I don't know about that. I went for a victory of wolfsburg for the reasons you just gave YoungMoney... Poor away record, some players missing,... at home Wolfsburg must be able of winning this game.

  15. Re: Champions League 7th of April

Damm Rooney plays :eek i no he ain't gonna be that fit but you have admit it does make a big difference to the team ' date=' im not that confident on Bayern +1 now :(, but i'l ride it out as bets already played[/quote'] yes idd, I'm happy I've put my money on Man utd to qualify...
  16. Re: Champions League 7th of April I got questions with V buyten who was injured last weekend? they say he'll play but is he really fit is the question... Vidic to score @ 8.6 seems nice... I think I'll for a home victory as well.... Bordeaux is a great team, but Lyon knows what to do... they won't play to offensive. I believe they will counter as said above. Question is: can they win it? I'm going for a bordeaux victory because I believe Bordeaux really can win at home against Lyon. I still believe Bordeaux can qualify. In doubt about that bet... Gourcuff is really a great player and a lot will depend on the first goal. If Bordeaux can score a quick goal anything is possible!

  17. Re: Champions League- 6th April what suprises me is no walcott in your line-ups... He had a great game home against Barca I think... Wouldn't suprise me if he starts instead of Eboué.... Think he has the key as well... If he's in a good shape Barca can get into difficulties. Barca defense: not a lot of speed... Only Alves but if Walcott plays on the other flank....

  18. Re: Champions League 16-17 March

Barcelona handicap backers please be aware you might not cover it' date=' Barcelona barely won in Stuttgart and I believe they will put one in camp nou, a warning to all of you.[/quote'] game in Stuttgart or game in Camp nou is another thing. For 1 the home advantage. 2nd Barca has to win now and they didn't have to win in Stuttgart... + barca is able of putting a better team on the pitch now. (Alves is back for example)
