  1. Re: Belgium - Jupiler - 10-11 May

Thanks for the write-up grieksken. I've watched a couple of Genks home play-off games and they've been very impressive. Bearing in mind what you say' date=' wouldn't the draw be the best value? I think I'll have a small stake on the stalemate @ 9/4.[/quote'] Don't know about a draw.. Would rather go for an asian handicap on brugge then I guess.. But I've put a small bet on club so we'll see gl:hope:hope
  2. Re: Belgium - Jupiler - 10-11 May Club Brugge - Racing Genk Genk is the favourite (for this game) but even more important for the title aswell.. The question is how good this young group can go with that pressure. The most important game for Racing Genk is the game against Standard. If they win that game they are the champions! Now, about today's game... Club Brugge is playing at home and searching for another win so they can keep their 4th place at least. That'll give them some chance for european football while going to a 5th place they are sure they won't play european football next season Genk is playing good, but as said pressure is rising. The team is working hard, but.. I'm not sure today... Club Brugge will play their regular system 4-3-3. Genk will do with a 4-4-2 formation. Striker Jelle Vossen had some troubles last game after a kick of Proto. No news really, but I have my questions about how fit he'll really be. Club Brugge will start with their regular team. Only Coosemans still out. De Vlieger - VD Heyden, Donk, V. Gijseghem, Hoefkens - Geraerts, Simaeys, Vadis (or blondel) - Perisic, Kouhemaha (or Akpala) Dirar. I guess Kouhemaha will start in front for Club brugge because he's strong and could be hard to defend on for the Genk defense who are good football players but pure strenght Kouhemaha is a lot stronger. Must be said Simaeys aswell as Geraerts are doubtfull due injury, but I believe at least 1 of them will play (even both) Genk will start with their regular team aswell I guess Courtois - Mavinga, Matoukou, Joneleit,Anele - Nadson (or Hubert), Toszer, De Bruyne, Buffel - Ogunjimi, Vossen (if he's fit) I have questions with a genk win today and I'm going for the suprise club brugge win small bet

  3. Re: Belgium - Jupiler - 6-7 May Today Standard-Club Brugge as said I hope the odds will still rise a bit but we'll see... first Standard: They are in a great shape during this play offs, only in Brugge they lost points. Important news from Liege today, Defour is back in the selection for this game. Really important, because Steven Defour is the natural leader and captain of this Standard, without him in today's selection I would doubt betting on them actually, because Van Damme is suspended. A hard hit to take? Yes, Van Damme has shown he's one of the better players Standard have. With his natural leadership he is someone this young team needed. Missing him today could've been a blow, but now Defour is back they have another good leader of the troops. Standard's selection: Bolat, Blazic, Opare, Ciman, Goreux, Kanu, Felipe, Mangala, Boukhriss, Pocognoli, Carcela, Daerden, Witsel, Defour, Camara, Berrier, Leye, Nong, Tchité possible line up: Bolat - Opare, Kanu, Mangala, Pocognoli - Carcela, Witsel, Camara, Leye - Nong, Tchité as you see I don't suspect Defour to be in the starting 11. I don't know how fit he really is, but he is so important to this standard. It is great to even have him on the bench so he can come in the team when needed. He always wants to play and if he sees Standard is struggelin he'll be the first to ask the coach to sub him in. Leye will take the spot of he suspended van damme I think. This means it'll be a bit more offensive. Also possibilities are to but Berrier in (but after a long injury I don't know how fit he is and if he can play a whole game) or Daerden. It depends how the coachingstaff feels about it and how attacking they want to play. Leye, actually a striker is def. the most offensive solution while Daerden will be the most defensive one. Berrier would be something in between. Club Brugge are having a hard time. With 34 points, and Anderlecht and standard having 41 it seems over, but now Anderlecht lost some points yesterday they could be in for a long fight for that 3rd spot in the ranking in Brugge. It depends! Team news: De Vlieger will be the goalkeeper today because Coosemans's season will be ended probably. He has Klierekoorts, what I still don't know what it is in English, but it's a virus and he'll probably won't play this season. Possible line up Club Brugge: De Vlieger - VD. Heyden, Donk, V. Gijseghem, Hoefkens - Simaeys, Geraerts, Blondel - Dirar, Akpala, Perisic couple of questions with club brugge. Vadis Odjidja could play in midfield (prob. for Blondel or even Geraerts then) and as striker the question is will it be Akpala or Kouhemaha. For the rest the team'll play as I said I think now. Club not in the best shape anymore and they have the feeling it's over now. 4th place at the end of the season seems to be how it is and the question is how good and motivated they'll be. Standard is playing great this playoffs, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to keep the streak they have running. Today, the question will be who makes the first goal. The scorer of that goal will probably win I guess. Besides that it's still in Sclessin and the Standardfans can smell the title comming closer. There will be a huge atmosphere in the stadion and I think the fans 'll shout their team forward I'm going for a Standard win today medium stakes

  4. Re: Belgium - Jupiler - 6-7 May

Today I really believe in a genk win: As I say every week Anderlecht are still struggeling because the loss of boussoufa. Well, today there is extra news. The captain and only creative player left in the team (Biglia) is Injured aswell now. Anderlecht midfield will fall apart now because they don't have midfielders that can play on 1st division level. Their midfield will be Suarez(or they'll play 3 striker formation) Kouyate, Kljestan and Kanu I think. Perhaps Marecek will take one of those spots (prob. Kanu's spot, or in a 3 striker formation Kljestan spot) In defense: trouble aswell. Besides the massive faillure of Ljejacs on the left defender (buffel will take advantage of this faillure normally) Mazuch and Juhasz are both doubtfull (they'll play I guess, but they'll struggle with their injuries). Against the stront attack from Genk they'll be in a lot of trouble I think possible line up: Proto - Ljecacs, Juhasz, Mazuch, Gillet - Kljestan, Kouyaté, Kanu, Suarez - Lukaku, ??? (could be De sutter or Vesilinovic,..) Genk are still in a good shape. With Courtois they got one of the best goalies around and he'll be hard to keep in the transfer period. Defenively they make some stupid errors, but with 2 defensive midfielders they play good. The attacking part is great. Ok, barda is injured and it could be a blow, but with Vossen and Ogunjimi they got 2 good goalscorers. Buffel has expierience and De Bruyne is young speedy with a good shot or cross. Anderlecht will struggle today I guess possible line up: Courtois - Pudil, Matoukou, Joneleit, Anele - De Bruyne, Nadson (or Hubert), Tozser, Buffel - Ogunjimi, Vossen bet: Racing Genk to win @ 2.30 on betfair high stake
Yeey!! Cheers guys:beer this win means I've had a free night out yesterday :rollin had perhaps a bit to much money on that game but well! fully deserved win! Genk played how I suspected (only mavinga played on the left defense but thats for the last 3 weeks or so, no problem) More troubles at anderlecht then suspected Defense wasn't fully fit, Kanu played who was half injured aswell and went af during half time and De sutter played, but his shoulder popped and you saw he was scared going in a duel yesterday, strange he started I think. Must say when genk missed their penalty I started to get scared a bit but well... oh ps. I read for Barca-real this week in the championsleague topic De Bleeckere gives a penalty every 3 of 4 games or something, wel I know it won't say a lot to you but he gave it yesterday, just 1 game wrong there then, but good statistic it was!

  6. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 5 May

Hey guys I am a new better just started few months ago. First post here' date=' I know this won't contribute to the discussion so please forgive me. I want to play the [b']overs 3.5 for Porto game, my budget for betting is £397.50. The returns will be £993.75 (if I win), so should I go all in? my biggest ever bet was £50, am I getting greedy here? Looking forward to any advice. Thanks
think you're getting greedy acutally. Porto has proven they can play on result aswell and that not all of their games go over so.. But as said, it's your money and only you can decide..
  7. Re: UEFA Champions League > Barcelona v Real Madrid > Tues 3 May I follow the guys going for the over today's bets over 2.5 and over 3.5 bet As known Madrid has to score goals in Camp Nou thistime so José can't let them play defensively all the time. If Madrid play more attacking they are strong and they have some guys that can make some goals. Ofcourse last times madrid tried to play football against Barcelona Barca showed their real class and have beaten madrid easly with a lot of goals. I'm not sure what Mourinho will do today but Barca plays football all the time (or try to do so). Meaning this game could easly go over gl all :hope:hope

  8. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 29 April - 2 May

Thank you, grieksken, do not worry about Bruges. Your messages for Belgium.....:clap Yesterday I won the bid for Genk. Genk I really like, they deserve to be champions. Please send us your message. Good luck ..
well, I hope Anderlecht won't (I layed them when Boussoufa left to russia) and Standard will (because I've put some money on them after the win against Genk) + It would be really something to think about for teams as anderlecht (Standard was almost 20 points behind Anderlecht, but thanks to play offs that specially anderlecht wants Standard could still win it) thx for your reaction :clap
  9. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 29 April - 2 May

well.. No time to write a lot but today I'm going for: A club Brugge win (small stake) A Genk win (medium stake) why? Club brugge always plays good against anderlecht since Koster is the coach there. Today's game won't be different I think. Anderlecht still struggeling to find their best shape back. They'll miss Legaer and Juhasz today who are both really important for the team. Juhasz is their best defender, Legaer is needed for his offensive impulses. Genk is just a great team. Playing good football and doing well. They are going for the title and got some guys who score with almost every attempt on goal. Given a chance they score. They have with Barda, Vossen and Ogunjimi 3 players high on the top goalscorer ranking + De Bruyne is also back in a good shape after a virus that was in his blood for a long time. well, gl! :hope
club brugge 0-0 :wall Genk 0-2 win :beer

  11. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 29 April - 2 May

I know I said to stay away from play off 2, but today there is a game that interests me a lot. STVV - KV Mechelen Mechelen to win @ 2.56 (medium to high stake) KV mechelen to me is the only team interested in winning their play off group. The only thing is they arn't leading it. Cercle Brugge is first with 6 points followed by Lierse and KV Mechelen with 5 points. STVV has 3 points. Mechelen really want to battle for that last european spot and so 2.56 are some great odds! STVV isn't the best team. They had to battle against reglation and are working out a team for the next season. This play off games really don't interest them. a slight problem for Mechelen is Benteke who is still injured. They are really in need of a good striker and Benteke could be that striker. The only problem is that he had a lot of injuries this year and is injured again injuries mechelen Benteke, Christian De Witte, Seth Geudens, Kevin For the rest there is a fully fit team. Squad: Biebauw, Wouter-Biset, Maxime-Buyens, Yoni-Chen, Xavier-Destorme, David-Diabang, Boubacar Dialiba-Ghomsi, Antonio-Gorius, Julien -Ibou, Sawaneh-Iddi, Abdul-Yakuni -Laureys, Jonas -Pandža, Boris -Pietermaat, Tom -Renard, Olivier -Van Dessel, Romeo - Van Hoevelen, Kenny- Van Loo, Anthony -Wilmet, Jonathan STVV are missing: Volders, Henkinet, Van der Jeugt, Kotysch, Evertz, Deferm, Antheunis en Commers long list of players and STVV squad isn't that big. squad: Castro, Wagemakers, Buysens, Euvrard, Odoi, Proesmans, Mennes, Delorge, Rymenants, Schouterden, Mutombo, Bertjens, Vanwelkenhuysen, Dufer, Schoofs, Cauwenberg, Beukers en Dengis. a lot of young players and I'm really wondering what they can do against a mechelen that wants to win (and can do good because of the other game) Good to know: STVV are working on their stadium, grass will be changed,... so in this play off games they play their home games in Westerlo. the nice thing is Westerlo is closer to Mechelen than it is to Sint Truiden. Mechelen fans always are big numbered and Sint Truiden fans know this play offs aren't that important and so a lot of fans aren't comming down for play off games. This means Mechelen could have more fans than Sint Truiden in today's match, so the home advantage will be gone for Sint Truiden actually. 2.56 is a nice price given all this I think so my bet: Mechelen to win!
2-1 stvv Poor mechelen, haven't seen the game but saw the line ups. Played a team they should've won against without any trouble.. :wall
  12. Re: Germany - Bundesliga - 29-30 April

well' date=' I cant help myself putting a small bet on Schalke here.. I mean... Oké I follow the idea they are tired and all but Bayern is a special game. Game is in Bayern and chances are big Bayern will win but Schalke @ 11 for a win is a lot of money. I just hope Schalke can score the first goal so I can Lay them afterwards but I'm trying this...[/quote'] 3-1 bayern already.. lost bet that is :wall
