  1. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 29 April - 2 May I know I said to stay away from play off 2, but today there is a game that interests me a lot. STVV - KV Mechelen Mechelen to win @ 2.56 (medium to high stake) KV mechelen to me is the only team interested in winning their play off group. The only thing is they arn't leading it. Cercle Brugge is first with 6 points followed by Lierse and KV Mechelen with 5 points. STVV has 3 points. Mechelen really want to battle for that last european spot and so 2.56 are some great odds! STVV isn't the best team. They had to battle against reglation and are working out a team for the next season. This play off games really don't interest them. a slight problem for Mechelen is Benteke who is still injured. They are really in need of a good striker and Benteke could be that striker. The only problem is that he had a lot of injuries this year and is injured again injuries mechelen Benteke, Christian De Witte, Seth Geudens, Kevin For the rest there is a fully fit team. Squad: Biebauw, Wouter-Biset, Maxime-Buyens, Yoni-Chen, Xavier-Destorme, David-Diabang, Boubacar Dialiba-Ghomsi, Antonio-Gorius, Julien -Ibou, Sawaneh-Iddi, Abdul-Yakuni -Laureys, Jonas -Pandža, Boris -Pietermaat, Tom -Renard, Olivier -Van Dessel, Romeo - Van Hoevelen, Kenny- Van Loo, Anthony -Wilmet, Jonathan STVV are missing: Volders, Henkinet, Van der Jeugt, Kotysch, Evertz, Deferm, Antheunis en Commers long list of players and STVV squad isn't that big. squad: Castro, Wagemakers, Buysens, Euvrard, Odoi, Proesmans, Mennes, Delorge, Rymenants, Schouterden, Mutombo, Bertjens, Vanwelkenhuysen, Dufer, Schoofs, Cauwenberg, Beukers en Dengis. a lot of young players and I'm really wondering what they can do against a mechelen that wants to win (and can do good because of the other game) Good to know: STVV are working on their stadium, grass will be changed,... so in this play off games they play their home games in Westerlo. the nice thing is Westerlo is closer to Mechelen than it is to Sint Truiden. Mechelen fans always are big numbered and Sint Truiden fans know this play offs aren't that important and so a lot of fans aren't comming down for play off games. This means Mechelen could have more fans than Sint Truiden in today's match, so the home advantage will be gone for Sint Truiden actually. 2.56 is a nice price given all this I think so my bet: Mechelen to win!

  2. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 29 April - 2 May

Still no Defour for standard today' date=' but I don't know if that's a real problem. I'm going for an [b']standard win here! Standard is doing great and at Sclessin there is always a lot of 'fire'. Standard have great fans and perhaps even the best of belgium who support their team at this moment. They will help standard to keep the 3 points at home. As said Defour is still injured but for the rest all players are fit to play. Standard has a great home reputation aswell. Gent looks tired. In the Play offs they didn't manage to catch a lot of points yet. Coulibaly was suspended, but a court decision ruled he could play. Now the belgian football assosation said if he plays and later court of appeal would say he should've been suspended Gent would lose their points anyway (if they would catch some points) so not sure if he'll play (but I guess he will) Sumahoro for gent is out, probably for the rest of the season. A good player with a lot of skills on the wing is someone they'll miss for sure! given the good form of standard, specially in home games given the poor form Gent has in this play offs the fact Gent misses an important player I'm going for a standard win (big stake)
1-0. Standard made it more difficult than it had to be but well.. I'm happy they won :beer

  4. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 28 April wow what a wonderfull game of a strong team with a great trainer. I don't follow portuguese comp. that good, but lookin forward to see some of them at work in a bigger competition that I do follow! ow, had some nice ingame bets that earned me some money aswell congrats to all guys! some nice bets I've seen:clap

  5. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 21-25 April Important game today in Belgium: Club Brugge - Standard Club MUST win this game to have a chance on the title! if Standard wins there will be a gap of 8 points between Club Brugge and the nr. 3 spot (and 9 points with the first spot) Club Brugge isn't a bad team, but had some trouble. daan van gijseghem is back from an injury and Peresic aswell will be fit to play. V. Gijseghem is important, because Simaeys will go to de defensive midfield spot, this gives the team more balance Club Brugge suspected Line up: Coosemans - Hoefkens, Donk, V. Gijseghem, VD. Heyden - Simaeys, Blondel, Geraerts - Perisic, Dirar, Akpala (4-3-3 formation) Standard is in a great shape and 1 thing is sure: it'll be hard for club to win thisone! the team is doing well and after a struggle to get into playoff 1 they are one of the favorites to take the title. In Liege they still don't speak about the title but only about top 3 spot. Winning today will give them, as I said, a gap of 8 points with nr. 4 giving them some safety. Standard suspected Line up: Bolat - Opare, Kanu, Mangala, Pocognoli - Carcela, Camara, Witsel, V. Damme - Nong (or Leye), Tchité now what to bet... Giving the good shape Standard has and the good odds I'm in doubt to put some money on a Standard victory.. Odds of 2.90 is good for a team in a great shape. still in doubt. +2.5 Goals Scored (normal stake) is my favourite bet here. Standard's defense isn't the best of the league and they still miss Defour due injury. He's the one in the midfield who plays the most defensive taking some trouble away form defense. The Standard defence didn't had a lot of trouble during this play offs because other teams didn't press that hard, but I guess Club Brugge will do so! Standard offence is in a good shape, nong playing better then in regular competition, Tchité always dangerous thanks to his spead and Leye scored 2 goals in his 12 minutes (came in for nong) last game. In midfield Witsel knows how to score goals, Carcela is scoring more often again and Van Damme (+ some defenders) are really strong in the air giving set pieces can be a weapon for Standard aswell!

  6. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 21-25 April Lokeren - Anderlecht Same as in my Eredivisie bets I fancy the underdog here. Anderlecht still not going good and are playing in a poor shape. Still nothing has changed, but they did get some points in last games. Today will be different. Lokeren in Play Off 1 is a really defensive team. They play with a lot of structure always. 4 Defenders 2 controlling midfielders. Then we have Leko as a playmaker and 3 strikers. Anderlecht will miss Juhasz and Klejstan. Juhasz is a real blow for the team because he's the best defender they have. It'll be hard without him for Anderlecht. Lokeren misses Tshimanga (de bock will play in his place) Maric and Overmeire. All defensive players and that could be the problem for Lokeren this game. On the other hand, Lokeren won't feel pressure to attack! they'll do calm and wait for their chances with Benji De Ceulaer in front. He'll hurt anderlecht with his speed! Anderlecht is missing some creativity since Mbark Boussoufa left the team and against a Lokeren with a lot of sturcture I can't see them winning easy. A lot will depend on the first goal thats why: big stake on a LAY of Anderlecht small stake on a Lokeren win gl all! :hope

  7. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 21-25 April Well, to be honest I'm just staying away from this play off 2 games. they are just not worth betting on... As I said belgian competition has gotten really strange with the play off games and till the end of the season I'd bet only on games of top 6: Genk, Standard, Anderlecht, Gent, Club Brugge and Lokeren. The other really don't have a lot of value in them. not all teams are taking the playoff 2 serious, only Mechelen would like to have a last shot for European football it seems to me, but after last weeks game I'm in doubt about that aswell.. now about this game. Kortrijk are last in their group with only 1 point, seems hey lost their best powers in the regular season. Zulte Waregem to me is a question. Thanks to their 0-1 win last week in Kortrijk perhaps it seems they are doing good, but their goalie is injured the rest of the season and Broos is checking out some yought players, as a lot of teams in Play off 2 are doing. They have started with the preparation of next season. That's why I'm staying away from this game. Tomorrow Cercle-Mechelen perhaps but def. Genk-Gent is an interesting game! (before making a bet on this game, know that Barda and Ogunjimi are suspended, leaving Genk with only Vossen as a striker over, prob. Kennedy will play next to him)

  8. Re: Belgium - Jupiler League - 21-25 April

really tempted by a Standard Win at 1.45 Standard is in a great shape and are going good. Lokeren is the weakest team in the championship playoff and a game in Liege is always difficult. Witsel is in a great shape and is dangerous with his infiltrations, Carcela is growing to a better form again an can be dangerous cutting inside and shooting or going around and crossing on that right flank, Van Damme is always dangerous with his head, Nong is proving more and more not to be the worst purchase of the season and Tchité is always dangerous with his speed. Besides that the Standard defense finally seems to play better. Standard'll still be missing Defour, but now things are going good Camara can fit himself in the team. Lokeren as said is the weakest link in the championsip playoff, but did well this season. They suprised a lot before januari, afterwards it was a lot harder for them. Leko is the playmaker of the team, but everyone gets that and do their best to have always a defensive midfielder in his area, not letting him play his favorite game. Camara'll have to do this today I belive. For the rest I think games are comming to quick for Lokeren. With in the weekend a hard game against Club Brugge and on saturday an homegame Vs Anderlecht games are comming rather quick. The squad of Lokeren is not big enough to go for every game I think, and I believe Lokeren will stand a better chance against Anderlecht home then IN Liege Vs Standard. all this reasons in concideration I'll go for an home win today!
    3-0 nice win :beer

  10. Re: EURO 2012 Qualifiers - Friday 25 March

@ grieksken I'm actually on Eden Hazard to score anytime @ 7.00 bet365. Participant in every Lille's game and 5 goals already this season. Hope the guy will be lined up.
I understand your bet but I only give the line up the belgian press thinks will play... It's hard to believe Hazard would be benched but... we'll see. Don't know about putting Dembele as centre stiker in a 3 strikers formation... He's a great player but doesn't score enough to be only striker there.. We'll see
  11. Re: EURO 2012 Qualifiers - Friday 25 March Austria - Belgium +2.5 GS and a little on +3.5 GS last game it was 4-4. We saw an open game with both teams going for the win. This game will be more of the same I think. belgiums expected line up: Mignolet - Ciman (or Van den borre), Van Buyten, Kompany, Vertonghen - Simons, Defour, Witsel - Dembele, Chadli, Ogunjimi I think belgium has a lot of strength in their offensive compartment. Chadli is in a great shape and he has proven with Twente in Euro League he can bring more of the same on a higher level. Dembele will be the striker on the other side. I think the Brittish punters know him. He can do magic sometimes, but he has trouble scoring goals. In the center there is Ogunjimi. He plays in belgium, but can score goals. He will switch from time to time with Dembele I think. On the bench there is still Eden Hazard, one of the best Ligue 1 players I think. Austria has a lot of great strikers aswell. If Arnautovic feels like playing some football he is ready for an european topteam perhaps, but the question is does he feel like playing. If he is annoyed he'll play the worst game ever. That's the big problem. The other striker will be Janko I believe. Another great striker, who will have his difficulties in the air against Van Buyten and Kompany, but in national team Van Buyten always makes 1 huge mistake/game, mostly resulting in a goal for the opposition side. Finally, Macho will be Austrias goaly I think. In the game in Belgium he proved not to be that great. He made some mistakes, specially on high balls. taken all this points in concideration + the fact the belgium team said they want and need to score 2 goals today I'm going for a bigone on +2.5 and a small bet on +3.5 gl all :hope

  12. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 17 March Ajax to Qualify @ 3.05 The home game was Ajax's game all the way. They where 10 times better than their opponent, but they failed in the most important thing there is in football and that's scoring a goal. The fact Ajax where a lot better gives me confidence they'll do better today. Today They won't need that much chances to score a goal and I really believe Ajax can outplay Spartak again. Besides that Ajax has a fully fit team, and that's only a good thing. Man. City to Qualify @ 3.6 City lost in Oekraine, but at home its an different game. Man. City knows what they'll have to do and that's scoring 2 times in 90' (at least) to go to extra time and score 3 times to qualify. That is without giving Kiev a goal. I think City has enough quality to do so and go trough to the next round. This Euro League is one of the goals this year and they won't give it up that easy!

  13. Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 16 March I think you can't forget Mourinho's home streak. Last game he lost at home was in his time @ Porto, this is a reason why real is only at 1.35 or something... Will they win? I have no idea, it could be a draw aswell, but I don't believe real will lose this game. Since Ronaldo is injured Benzema is doing great and Mourinho has the luxury to bench Ronaldo when he's not 100%. He can always bring him if needed. I think it are hard games today. I'll prob. go for a madrid win because of the home streak + a lot of people who had rest last game. As said defensively a lot of players where rested as X. Alonso who seems to always get his rest before a cl game (remind me he was benched before the game in Lyon aswell) About Chelsea, I can understand the reasoning here. chelsea had an easy away win and Under 2.5 seems a good bet. Perhaps I'll even lay Chelsea because they are so low.. Not sure yet what to do here.

  14. Re: NBA - March 9th Picks

NY on a great run, have no clue why they are @ 2.52 against Memphis.. Memphis not playing really bad, with a win aganst SAS, but still doesn't explain the high odds for NY to me... NY had 2 terrible losses against cleveland cavaliers and had 1 vs and in Orlando, for the rest they won all last 10 games, not bad I think. I'm going for NY today!
    Win :clap:cheers

  16. Re: UEFA Champions League > 15th September Real Madrid - Ajax Real Madrid to win Real Madrid at home should always be stronger then Ajax. I saw last weekends game (1st half only) and oké, it still wasn't great and they'll have to play a lot faster, BUT I don't think Ajax will only defend in Madrid. I think they'll try to attack aswell Ajax is missing Suarez and vertonghen who are both important players to Ajax. Suarez is the scoring guy who also gives assists,... With El Hamdaoui he has a good fellow striker next to him, but I don't think El Hamdaoui can do it by himself. Vertonghen is one of the leaders in defense. With Alderweireld he has a good defender next to him, but he's still young and needs a bit of experience next to him.Probably Oojer or Oleguer will take Vertonghen's place in defense, but I think they are a bit to slow to play against the fast Real Madrid attackers.

  17. Re: UEFA > Champions League > 24th - 25th August

No worries' date=' but Proto IMO did not react well, especially with the first goal...in any case I only saw the highlights...[/quote'] well... perhaps you missed some great saves from Proto. He played a good game, but make him belgians nr. 1 is a bit to much. Gillet was 1 of the best goalies in serie A last season Lukaku idd played a poor game, but he wasn't able of playing a lot of games yet because he's injured, but because Anderlecht's other striker De Sutter is injured and the importance of the game Lukaku had to play.... But this season his football was poor... about today, some nice games. I think I'll go for an ajax win. they have a great team and a good attack. I can't believe the chances they missed in Kiev, but at home I don't think they'll have a lot of troubles with Kiev. 1.84 is a good price for Ajax I believe
