  1. Re: Straight bets Glory Hunt by Bagzi Crna Gora Sorry to see this thread down, it was interesting to follow steady increase of profit, and sometimes also useful - I personally earned some money on some good picks from this thread; unexpected under in Adelaide vs Queensland a couple of days ago, therefore at high odds, as well as over in San Lorenzo vs San Luis, several weeks ago, also at very valauble odds. I know that everyone wants to be a colonel after the battle, but may I point out to what went wrong, in my opinion, just to consider for future threads; I saw lack of patience in this last session; after a bet had been lost, you were going onto the very next bet, only hour or two later; I just think that it's clever to have a little rest after losing streak of two or three bets, at least untill next day; you know, when you feel the force to recover, you evaluate a match you want to bet on more by your wish than by available stats and infos, and by choosing the earliest match, you also don't have enough time to analyze it properly... In fact, I think it's right measure for glory hunt - only one bet a day, nevertheless if it was won or lost, and especially when thread is so successfull as it was yours... Several days ago, I wrote somewhere here in the forum that best strategy to win is to take a closer look at the match you want to bet on, and if you feel any doubt about your prediction, just skip it, and wait for the next opportunity! Hope to see your next thread soon! Good luck! :ok

  2. Re: UEFA Cup ( 18-19 02 2009 )

Villa vs CSK Complex conundrum:unsure Villa are depleted at the back with injuries. Heskey is out (Martin may have a few sharp words for Fabio on that score:@). Barry is back which is a plus. CSK have not played for over a month. However, they have a new manager and a rather good one - teams are out to impress a new manager. Added to that is the rather impeccable form of CSK in the qualifying rounds. I do not see any value in the evens for Villa and I think Martin will send out his boys to keep a clean sheet if possible and then hit them on the break in the away tie This is a game to bet in running. Wait to see how CSK play and evaluate how match fit they are. If CSK play to their potential then Villa will need to be patient and it will be a likely - Draw
As cup games are always full of unexpected results, I'd expect this one to be the easiest one; add to all above mentioned that Villa hosts Chelsea in Saturday in their fight to secure place for next Champions League, so they will take care not to suffer injury this evening; that CSKA has 5 brazilian players, who will probably feel more comfortable under their new coach Zico, and in winter break they did not sell any player, so it's still the same team, who has excellent run of 4 wins in friendly matches recently, and 18 wins and only two defeats in last 20 matches (insluding Russian champ., UEFA cup and friendlies): http://data1.7m.cn/Team_Data/215/en/index.shtml Therefore, I consider this match as clear draw or away win at 1.85, or away win draw no bet at 2.35. Good luck! :ok
  3. Re: New subscriber :welcome to PL, Tubaluk! I will tell you my system how to earn sometimes 5 to 10 EUR a day: my usual stake per bet is 5 EUR for combo or 10 EUR for single; so, sometimes I get a closer look to matches I intend to bet on... and decide not to bet! In that way, I earn those 5 or 10 EUR... Amongst a lot of systems which I have been trying in my betting carreer, it appeared to be the best one... :wall

  4. Re: Straight bets Glory Hunt by Bagzi Crna Gora Well, it was more than enough goals for another session succesfully completed only after first bet! :clap But there was something strange with live scores of this game - at both Flashscore and 7M.cn, the result displayed was 0-2 untill the very end of the game, and then suddenly all 4 goals of hosts appeared out of nowhere... :loon Good luck in bets to come! :ok

  5. Re: The HT/FT Rochdale System Hm, interesting approach, and I'll follow this thread with care; can I give a suggestion: as match must end in draw to win your bet (and half-time is "variable"), I consider this system will work best in leagues with most draws; out of leagues you researched, League Two has the most draws: 30 % of matches this season finished in draw (338 matches played); in Premier, 27 % finished in draw (247 matches played), in Championship, 29 % (370 matches), and in League One and Conference, as low as 25 % of matches finished in draw (339 and 347 matches, respectively). Meanwhile, there are some leagues with more draws: in Italy Serie B, France National and Spain Segunda draw occured more than 33 % (263, 205 and 253 matches played this season, respectively), and in Germany 2 and Belgium 2 about 32 % of matches finished in draw (204 and 215 matches till now); what do you think, are those leagues worth similar research as yours?

  6. Re: Home Win I use BetExplorer, it is the best soccer stats site in my opinion. For this what you ask, go to "Soccer", choose the country, "England", then in "Season 2007/2008" choose Premier league; then you have all the results of that season, including odds at all main bookmakers, goalscorers and time of goals scored. To see the look of the table after specific round, just enter the round in the box over the table, "Table after (box) round", and click "show"; to see all head-to-head matches of any two teams, just choose them from drop-down list "mutual matches" next to the table, and click "show", too. Here is Premier league 2007-2008 Other good sites that I use for statistics are SoccerVista and BetVirus

  7. Re: Calcrec Ha, ha... I visited this thread very soon after its opening, and thought "Hm, it would be nice to have this calculator, but let me not bother with writing the reply, someone else will do that..."; so it seems that all the other visitors thought the same. ;) So, hope to see your file here. :ok Thanks! :)

  8. Re: UNDER 2.5 goals using previous results Academica screwed up my evening, too; in previous 6 away games, they had scored only one goal, and had been conceding in average exactly one goal per match; this time they had to double it up... :wall You know, those several low-scoring leagues (Greece 1, Portugal 1 and 2, Italy B and C1-A, France 2 and 3) are pretty weird - either they score under 1.5 goals when I pick under 2.5, either there is a plenty of goals; as someone said, it's easy to choose the right one, but it appears difficult to avoid the wrong one... :@ Good luck next time...
