  1. Re: Cricket: West Indies vs Zimbabwe - Twenty20 International & ODI Series Good luck with those Kev! Looking forward to this one! Total match run outs - over 1.5 @ 2.12 Betfair - 2 points Windies have an amazing ability to make a run out out of nothing and with Zimbabwe returning to the big time, hopefully inexperience will show on the bigger stage. Windies have some of their first choice batsmen missing, which again could lead to a mix up and lack of communication. 2 points - same taibu bet as Kevshat I agree with what you mentioned Kev. I like the little fella and time and time again he comes up trumps for Zimbabwe. He's bang in form and used to the big stage. 1 point - Masakadza top zim batsman @ 4/1 Bet365 He is Zimbabwe's main man, has great ODI and T20 credentials and enjoyed a huge year scoring runs in 2009. On a slow pitch he will enjoy batting with the hard ball and hopefully he can cash in on the power play. I really fancied Dwayne Smith at 35 points, but as he is predicted to bat at 8 I couldn't risk him not facing any deliveries, even though he could cover it in the field alone. I agree with you Kev on the value bet for Zimbabwe, they are currently 5.7 on BF, I'm gonna swerve it though and keep a watching brief. Good luck though mate.

  2. Re: Cricket: New Zealand vs Australia - Twenty20 Internationals & ODI Series Hussey 30 + points @ 5/6 bet365 - 4 points For same reasons as in first match, but with the addition of form and confidence this time. The market has increased from 27 points, but hopefully with his usual catch / wicket, he will only require 10 runs. Kev are you going for the 6's market this time - I am just checking ground details and best odds before posting, can't see a low scoring game like the last match.

  3. Re: Cricket: New Zealand vs Australia - Twenty20 Internationals & ODI Series Did put a small bet on N.Zealand in the end :spank OUTCLASSED!!! The Hussey bet was easily cleared though - :clap He kept his good catching record going and only needed to hit 7 runs but instead top scored. :cash With both top orders not getting going the 6's bet never got going and Australia had such a low score to chase.

  4. Re: Rugby - 6 Nations 2 bets for today England v Ireland game. Tommy Bowe - anytime try scorer @4.5 Betfair - 2 points He has had a quiet 6 nations so far, but I think today will see him come good. He has a potent strike rate, will look to come off his wing to get involved in open play. I think that this will be a good game of rugby with hopefully less kicking with O'Gara dropped - all in all today for Tommy try time. Match points - over 38.5 points @ evens - BF - 3 points I feel that both teams will keep the ball in hand more than in their last matches and with the players on show there is bound to be tries. Sexton and Wilkinson are superb kickers (italy was a blip! :hope) and will kep the scoreboards ticking over. Like yesterdays match, I was expecting 42 / 43 pints to be the handicap line and am happy to have a good bet at evens.

  5. Re: Rugby - 6 Nations

Parra over 11.5 points @ 1.87 Betfair - 2 points Similiar thinking to Marseille; with Wales' weakened pack I think they may be vulnerable to giving away a few penalties which I'm sure Parra is capable of exploiting. He has also shown that he is quite capable of taking a drop goal if required (even if the match is already won) to keep the scoreboard ticking over. 2 penalties and 2 conversions would cover this bet and I like the odds offered taking France's flair and try scoring form and Wales leaky defence so far. Wales v France Match points +39.5 points @ 1.8 BF - 2 points As mentioned above both teams have a potent attacking threat especially France. Both teams have a decent kicker and are capable of scoring tries with some great finishers on show tonight. I think there will be a few penalties awarded especially in the scrum and you wouldnlt rule out drop goals. All in all I think the points line is a little low and would have taken on 42.5 points so am happy to go 39.5. :hope
:nanaboth bets winners! Was a bit concerned when Parra got sin binned!

  7. Re: Cricket: New Zealand vs Australia - Twenty20 Internationals & ODI Series I'm seriously considering a smallish punt on New Zealand. 2 to 1 looks a bit big to me. Home advantage, the return of Oram and Bond is a lot of experience against a quality Australia line up but maybe lacking some experience. Both teams have been in form in their respective summer series'. Major concern is the pace atack of Nannes and Tait. But the 'value' bird is singing a song to me. Anyone got any thoughts?

  8. Re: Cricket: New Zealand vs Australia - Twenty20 Internationals & ODI Series D.Hussey player performance 27 or more points - Bet365 5/6 As mentioned before I really rate Hussey in T20's. He is a destructive quick scoring batsman with shots all round the ground and an average of 27.70 (not helped by his failure last time out). He is a safe pair of hands and averages a catch in every other match which to put in to perspective is better than most wicket keepers in T20's. As if that wasn't good enough he has picked up 7 wickets in his 11 T20 internationals with his handy offspin. With N.Zealands, smaller grounds I expect him to cover the points with the bat alone, however his fielding and bowling are a valuable insurance. Maximum 10 point bet for me.

  9. Re: Cricket: India vs South Africa - ODI Series 2 points - S.Africa 1st ODI @ 2.18 BF India are missing some key players in Gambhir, Yuvraj and Zaheer. Their bowling attack looks weaker than S.Africas penetrating attack and a number of Indias batsmen will dislike the shorter deliverys from Morkel. Smith missing for S.Africa is obviously a big negative, however I personally see this game as a coin toss, so am happy to take S.Africa as underdogs at around 6/5.

  10. Re: Cricket: Australia vs West Indies - ODI Series & Twenty20 Internationals 3 points - M.Clarke +0.5 runs v D.Hussey -0.5 runs @1.95 Betfair Clarke has a dodgy record in T20's, and does not appear to have a clear game plan. Everytime I watch Hussey, he looks good and I consider him very unlucky not to have played more for the Aussies. Hussey is a big powerful hitter and if time is short later in the innings he can score quickly. I fancy your 6's bet Kev, Betfairs market is three way which i dislike, will have to pop some money in a different account. :hope for a close match
