Re: Shameful Haydock Plea Have a great day mate, hope you back some winners!:hope My NAP at Haydock is GENGHIS in 1.50 Race. All he does with every race is improve, he beat Royal Shakepeare fairly easily last time out who runs again here and he looks very hard to beat. Forecast Price: 100-30F

Re: UK General Election Michael Howard has resigned as Conservative Party Leader. The third to do so in the last four years. And as Tony Blair has already stated he won't lead another term in 2009, many people believe Gordon Brown will be the next Prime Minister.

Wincanton 5.55: BOWLEAZE Has previously ran well over this Course & Distance when less than a length down to a very decent horse who went on to finish 5th in a Grade 3 contest and they both broke 18 lengths clear of the third Yes Sir who has since gone on to win a very competitive Class B Handicap Hurdle at Sandown. Since then Bowleaze hacked up over 3ms at Newbury and was made favourite in a Class B Hurdle at Cheltenham last month but was very disappointing. This race is much easier today as he takes a significant drop in grade and I expect him to win again. 6.55: FANDANI He ran very well on his debut over hurdles when a five length second to Cerium over Course & Distance in Feburary (Cerium has since gone on to finish 4th in the Grade 1 Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival) and more improvement is expected here and should win this weak race. 7.55: TOM SAYERS Very progressive type who just keeps on improving with every race and destroyed the opposition in a canter by 24 lengths over the same Course, Distance & Grade 19 days ago and as more improvement is expected of him, I just can't see him losing here.

PREVIEW FROM USA's OFFICIAL THROUGHBRED HORSE RACING SITE: The first Saturday in May is just days away, and 20 colts are set to run for glory in the 2005 running of the Kentucky Derby. Always the most anticipated horse race of the year, this year’s field is very intriguing. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of this year’s Derby is the runaway manner in which most of the big prep races were won. Here’s a quick rundown:

Re: UK General Election I didn't know Milkman work at this time of night???? Anyone staying up until the TV Coverage finishes at 6am?

Re: Three to follow up this evening Agreed MarboroUk with Feel The Pride, she bolted up in a canter at Southwell last Friday and is on a 20lb lower mark over fences than her Hurdles mark and connections are defintiely taking avantage of this lenient mark. Well done with Mr Mischief :clap :ok

Re: UK General Election I don't know much about Politics but I will watch the Election tonight:D The betting suggests its a one horse race and Labour should win in a canter. Do you think there is any chance of them losing?

Re: Hunter Chase Season Hi Striker Sleeping Night won the Foxhunters At Cheltenham, he proberly is a Class A horse now and I find it unfair that horses with his ability including Foly Pleasant should be allowed to run in it. I believe only horses that have ran in PTP's and Hunter Chases should be allowed to run in it and not horses who have ran at a Professional Class A level who still retain that ability. I think connections of Sleeping Night stole the race away from its tradition and made the race their own. I think the rules should be changed so that we see a real Foxhunter Champion and not a horse. who is completly different class to these Class H horses. What do you think mate?

Re: Joe's Placepots Won £85 on Placepot at Newmarket on Saturday and almost struck again today with an unlucky 5 out of 6 on the Exeter Placepot. I feel another win coming soon though and its only a matter of time, hopefully tomorrow at Chester. 5.45: Spiders Web = UNPLACED Castle Boy was a non-runner so my second selection went on the favourite and fav was Alessandro Severo and WON at 7-4F 6.15: GLOBAL CHALLENGE = 2ND @ 9-2 The fooking stupid idiotic race that let me down 6.45: SURE FUTURE = PULLED UP GENERAL O'KEEFE = PULLED UP 7.15: DANGEROUSDANMAGRU = WON @ 9-2 EGGMOUNT = UNPLACED 7.45: SMART CAVALIER = 3RD @ 6-5F 8.15: Selection was non-runner so horse went on favourite and ITSMYBOY = WON @ 7-4F PLACEPOT PAYED TO £1 STAKE = 155.20 but I had it to 50ps so 155.20/2 = £77.60 BUT I DIDN'T WIN BECUASE I GOT 5 OUT OF 6, JUST SHOWING YOU HOW MUCH PLACEPOT PAYED TO MY STAKE. Everyday I will post my placepots in this thread, today I am doing Exeter Placepot. Exeter Placepot: Due to the change in going from Good-To-Soft to Heavy, some horses have been withdrawn including two of my selections. 5.45: Spiders Web & (Castle Boy is a Non-Runner?) If Spiders Web is the favourite, then I will have two lines on that horse, but if he is not favourite, then my second selection will go on the favourite. 6.15: Global Challenge 6.45: Sure Future & General O'Keefe 7.15: Dangerousdanman & Eggmount 7.45: Smart Cavalier 8.15: My selection is now a Non-Runner so I'm automatically on the favourite. 2x1x2x2x1x1 = 8 Bets, 50p stake, 8 divide 50 = Total Cost £4

Re: Dave's Flat Bets Hey Dave!! Joe from EBA here, some great work you doing mate. Regarding the people on EBA just listing their selections, It would be nice if they tell us how they approched their fancy. I have just started from yesterday listing comments about the horses I fancy as you can see in my placepoit threads and I will continues to do the same. I feel that EBA is quite dead, as most of the certain forums on there are non-contributional eg: The Chit-Chat section. And the Admin Mabbs is not on there alot and he is not really helping the forum as an Admin should.

Re: Joe's Tips Lingfield: 1.40: IFFRAAJ This could be a Group horse running in a handicap after a comfortable victory in a Class 2 6f Sprint in March where he beat some very decent handicappers. Is clearly much better yet and ought his try in Group company, but its intresting connections are taking an advantage of his lenient mark and although he is not best drawn, will take a lot of beating today. Haydock: 1.50: GENGHIS A very progressive type who has been fast improving of late. Was off a mark of 105 in Feburary and now runs off 137 after winning a Class A Handicap Hurdle at Aintree and followed up that win in the Grade 2 Scottish Champion Hurdle. Beat Royal Shapespeare fairly comfortably that day and should beat him again today. More improvement is expected to come and will be very hard to beat. Warwick: 7.20: RIVER CITY Beat subsequent Arkle winner Contraband in October and followed up with a excellent 3rd in this years Arkle, disappointing on his last start but should be far too good for his six rivals today.
