    Re: Wsop 2005 Played the wsop final last night finishing 49th out of the 693 entrants. Which was a reasonable effort and I genuinley felt i made no notable mistakes. But alas it wasn't to be shortstacked for a long time i lost a coin toss hand with 8's against aj. He spiked the ace and jack on flop to condemn me.

    Re: Ladbrokes Poker Cruise and Jezza Just add to that Jez there is a nightly freeroll for the weekly final. Only 1 place:lol . But top 50 place pay made up the rebuys which are 5 dollars which make the pot over a grand normally.

    Re: Kiko1983 your questions mate Depends on what level you are playing at, i find at the levels im playing that very few people at the table will notice i have folded hand after hand and then suddenly im raising 3bb (or more) when i get the rockets. So i still get action even tho my table image is tight. The arguement for raising is to thin the field and therefore giving your aces a better chance of success. If you let 5 people play the flop, you are actually a dog to win against the field even tho you held the nuts beore the flop. So in a ideal situation you want one or two opponents then the strength of your hand will be greater. Also they will have paid to stay with you.

    Re: Kiko1983 your questions mate Hagerty i hope can be of some help to you. Having played quite a few freerolls in my time. There are 3/4 sections to the freeroll or any mtt. Start In freerolls there a lot of headcases around sticking it all in with marginal or worse hands. My advice don't be tempted to mix it up. Wait for a monster im talking a big pair or ace king possible and murder them. I would say 9/10 if you sit long enough the hand will come up and you will at least double through. Middle I would say my weakness, we have got rid of most of the nutters and the blinds aren't big enough to hurt your stack. Its time to accumulate. I would actually advise seeing a few flop and trying to hit. Cos if you don't make inroads now you will come under all in pressure Blinds Stinging/ Bubble approaching You are at one of two points here either you are in good position and nicking the blinds and bluffing become affective. Or you are short stacked trying to make the money/ double thru. Don't panic whatever wait for a good hand and then put all in pre flop don't call in this situation its raise or fold time. Set yourself a starting requirement with regards to your stack and the blinds and keep to it. In the money Basically advise the old poker maxim of play opposite to the way the table is playing. If everyone is loose play tight and vica versa.

    Re: 30k BET365 Freeroll First break on 2375 in chips did have 4000. Made a poor play with pocket 9's on button. Raised 3bb no one else in pot. BB who is a poor player calls. We have an all in the small blind. I decide not to bluff Flop comes rainbow kj5 check check. Turn 7 checked down. River 4. He bets 400 i call think he has one of the rags. Turns over 8 6o for the straight. I should have bet the flop with position. Oh well still in there.

    Re: 30k BET365 Freeroll Hope I don't get at the same table as you jez cos i have experimented with playing loose. Yet i think my post flop play is not good enough yet and i feel more comfy going in with a hand im comfy with. Thats why i hate playing shorthanded.
