Re: TOTESPORT TROPHY TRENDS --Newbury-Saturday 12th February I took out 2x the field in this race a few weels ago. I have had sizeable by my standards bets on both get me out of here and salden licht, both were around 14s at the time. I don't think solix was even born when i struck my bets, both bets were each way. I got a tip for salden licht for the november handicap 2 years ago after he'd been brought from germany running for james eustace. He was an unlucky fifth that day, but having stuck with his undoubted class since joining alan king, he's classily kept improving, his latest win he purred like a finely tuned ferrari. Get me out of here joins a long list of horses i'd been following named after favorite "alternative rock" songs (buddy holly - weezer, caribou and planet of sound - the pixies, etc) initially just out of novelty. However, gmooh's form is the best in the book here following the repeatedly franked second to menorah in last year's supreme. Campaigned initially for a novice chase season gmooh has now been switched back over hurdles, i'm hoping he will now show his true colours, this his likely main target this year now. My favourite group "the muffs" sung the song :$

Re: Jump Racing Sun 6th Feb Had a good day today at the track. Didn't have a bet in the first, though kicking myself that I didn't back big Goldie's winner e/w, thought the fav was nailed on. I had my wee boy Jonny with me, I was near the finish line, I had a red hat on, wee Jonny in a green jacket, got him to wave to his mum on the camera 2nd and 3rd race. Backed 20/1 shot Santa's Son fiver on Jonny's recommendation, mines was second. Big fan of James Ewarts, had a tenner each on his 3 runners, Vosges was incredible, won at 7s, Premier Grand Cru looked amazing, but needed the run, the bumper horse looked promising. James looked troubled in the enclosure, he had 2 sticks, on facebook, says he has broken a hip. Met Ferdy, before Divers won, got a handshake, was surprised how small and gaunt he looks, got a wink from Graham Lee, my hero :) Backed Divers, superb ride from Graham to beat the odds on fav. Thankfully the rain stayed away in general, the journey through didn't fill me with much hope but good in the end. Pity about Thommo and his incessant drivel.... :tongue2

Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase Still waiting to hear what medermit's target will be, but looked good today, feel that stamina best suited by arkle distance. For a long time arkle winner has been the horse with the highest rating when hurdling

Re: Gingers Jumpers 2010-2011
Chill out Mark, step back from the edge, deep breath, re-read it all, and..... breathe out. Now, get back and edit your last post out and keep entertaining us.;)Hi all, Regrettably ..... Bye Mark (Ginge) -
Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase I wouldn't go in too heavy till i'm sure the qualifier is likely to run, as it stands, currently there's still too much conjecture whether medermit goes for this or further
-
Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase .... but you don't know who this years qualifier is yet....:rollin
-
Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase could be handy eh? keep joe guessing :)

Re: Tues 3.20 : Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy Sorry mate, not meaning about the cough, thought you were saying about connections not playing games even with a Champion hurdle.. :)

Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase
Keep at it Ganj, think outside the box a bit, feel the force :) I'll check in later in the week, see how you're getting on. Look back at the last 5 winners, no need to go any further back, it's all there in the horse's history, a key trend that I've never seen mentioned, not the usual superfluous stuff....won or placed last time out -
Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase A market influencer employed by a newspaper whose niche is selling advertising to bookmakers, Capt Chris is a good horse if they get him right again, the good/soft will certainly help him, but the last person i'd take advice from is the guesser.

Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase you'll need to do better than that mate! :)

Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase I think I'll need turn this into a competition Joe, c'mon mate, it's all there on your ATR website :)

Re: Tues 3.20 : Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy
Short memory there Goldi, we all know what McManus last year? 999/1, someone knew! :rollinAnd a crazy one at that. This is the champion hurdle. Not a grade 7 at Southwell ! -
Re: Tues 2.05 : Irish Independent Arkle Challenge Trophy Steeple Chase Why does no-one mention the *KEY* Arkle trend? Look back at recent Arkles, there is an amazing trend... Forget nationalities, etc., there is a cracker lurking there....

Re: IRISH HENNESSY GOLD CUP TRENDS -6th febuary Cooldine has a serious chance as I've given up on him :) I think I've hexed him, thought he was the heir to Kauto/Denman, might still do now that I've unburdened him.

Re: Tues 3.20 : Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy Peddlers Cross has a cough and won't run at the weekend (5th Feb) if that's of any use to anyone? Might deny him a prep run which could be crucial?

Re: Wed 2.40 : RSA Steeple Chase Jessie's Dream anyone?
-
Anyone else going to Musselburgh on Sunday 6th?
-
Re: Thurs 1.30 : Jewson Novices' Steeple Chase I'm a bit surprised they're going down that road Gord, I didn't see them state he'd go for the Jewson, I'd presumed RSA for him too, the defeat of Wishful Thinking back in December looks even better now, I thought the next run may have come too soon for him.
