  1. Re: Valuescope August 4th Dam...calm down, but as one reply did say, why could you not put it up here for all of us to see.then you went defensive and shut up shop..maybe i jumped the gun on the spamming issue, so i will apologise in that case, but share with PL as others do..if it makes money let everyone know.

  2. Re: Stewards Cup Trends Nice Analysis there Certainly, i would like to share some info on here if i may I have spoken to Johnny Murtagh's PR and Agent on Wednesday, and he was very optimistic on the chances of "SOMETHING" in the Stewards Cup. he was apparently saying he thinks this is his best ride of the meet GL Wups

  3. Re: bettingdata.co.uk << anyone use them? i am a tipster by trade, and have a thread on here, but i will be honest as one member said here, PL have some very knowledgable people on here and a free service they give, as i will state i have a site, i do not spam here as i find this site very informative as every one learns different tactics in betting, it is good the site you have joined give out all their results. winners and losers, but i think you should see proof first on this 85% strike rate and see what proofing site they use.. but stick to PL mate, free tips, free inside info what more can a punter ask for. Wups

  4. Re: Sandown 26/07/07 This is not a money selection going onto the thread, just putting this up as a each way chance this afternoon in the first.. This horse was texted to me by a close friend to the G Moore yard, they have a Acclamation colt running this afternoon by the name of HITCHINS the word is that he has come on well, still looks a bit green, but should run a good race on his course debut, the yard are having a small dabble each way on this at odds about 12/1, the advise was not to go in to heavy, just a sporting bet at nice prices..but the trainer was happy with the preperation of the horse. Well i have to go back to the rays guys, the wife is screaming get off that dam laptop :rollini better go, see you soon Wups

  5. Re: Laying Spencer Thread.

I see this thread has gone quiet. Can't think why?! :lol Anyway, look out for the Spencer thread in the systems section of ATR in the very near future chaps. I think it's worth following him for small stakes at bigger prices I really do. Cheers Danny
Good Morning Danny Well i saw this reply so i thought i would pop in to see what is going on in here whilst im away on holiday, i'm not officially back until the 6th August, but i will answer this question into why the thread has not being used, not because he is riding winners, or not, my holidays come before Mr Spencer, but when i am back the thread will restart as will my Writeup thread, i am just relaxing and chilling out in the sun, and hopefully come back to reality racing and better weather, as i see the laughter symbol, maybe everyone thought i had dumped this thread after he had a few winners, far from it, the name of the game is risk taking, and i find Mr Spencer a liabilty and money to be made off him.. See you in about a week Wups
  6. Re: Daily NAPS 19/07/07 Well off this evening to my holidays and i will leave one from Ireland today Killarney Colm Foley Memorial Novice Hurdle (4YO plus) - Nap - 14.15pm Apt To Run The Martin Murphy's Apt To Run has a hard race to contend with, and takes on the likes of Scholars Mate from the Colin Murphy yard, Field Commander from the Micheal Hourigan yard and Cloone Rocket from the Charlie Swan yard.a very good race to get the card off this afternoon, was last seen when beating Philtown by a length at Limerick over 2m on good ground, this ex-trained Ed Dunlop horse was rated 77 on the flat which just gives him the edge over Scholars Mate, who was rated highly by his yard when a bumper horse, the interesting thing is the jockey bookings, Ruby has got the call to ride Scholars Mate a head of Davy Russell, who has also won on Field Commander, so obviously he has had the pick of the three and has decided to return to ride Apt To Run.he has to compete with a 6lb rise in the handicap as the other two Cloone Rocket and Scholars mate have been given a straight rating of 116, a very tough race but under these rules Davy Russell is well worth his weight in gold here and should go close.

  7. Re: Daily NAPS - Tue 17/07/07 Robert Dyas Key Suppliers Median Auction Maiden Stakes - Nap Amanda Perratt's string seem to be hitting some form, and she saddles Harry Tricker here tonight, was last seen when finishing third at Sandown over an extended mile and a quarter, and eventually went down by 5L, and went well for all of the race and was staying on well in the closing stages when tapped for toe inside the final two furlongs, steps up in trip tonight and this should be very favourable, looks like a useful gelding in the making and will pay his way in time, but tonight has a big chance of losing the maiden tag under jim Crowley. Suitable Ground : Good Jockey % at track : 13.00% / -£2.25 Trainer % at track : 0.00% / -£5.00 Combo % overall : 14.00% / +£26.23

  8. Re: Favourite Horse Well being related to Jenny Pitman i suppose i should really select one of here great horses she had, but sadly not ( Sorry. she'll forgive me), for me it has to be ERHAAB, the ride Willie Carson gave this was the best i have ever had the privillage to watch, turning for home Mister Baileys had kick for home 15L clear of anything in the race. The way the horse picked up in the straight and finish clear of the third by a wide margin catching and passing Mister Baileys easing down and it looked like the horse had never broke a sweat, but like all great Derby Winners over the last decade have not gone to do that much, but this would have to be my selection. Also Zafonic, again another horse that picked up in the guinneas when coming eight wide to pass the field like they were stood still, great ride by Pat Eddery, and just the one more Rodrigo de Triano also winning the guinneas for the legend Lester Piggott. But it would have to be Erhaab if i had to choose one outright Wups

  9. Re: Monday Naps-16/7 NEWTON ABBOTT 16TH JULY 2007 Newton Abbot Racecourse Beginners' Chase (Div 1) - 14.45PM - NAP Peter Bowen saddles Highglen here and is rated 11lb higher than anything in the race, the stats speak for them selves over the chase course here for the trainer and jockey, he was seen when falling at Sedgefield over 2m 4f on good to firm ground and was well held when in third and fell has run further than the 2m 5f on offer this afternoon, as went close over 2m 7f at Worcester on good ground going down by half a length to Itsmyboy from the David Pipe yard and had Friendly Request back in fourth that day by over twelve lengths and he came out and won on his next outing, fifty four days off should have this fit and ready to go again and if the fall has not damaged the confidence he should be a major player of the mark of 115. Suitable Ground : Good Jockey % at track : 50.00% / +£7.00 Trainer % at track : 44.00% / +£14.11 Combo % at track : 33.00% / +£14.65 Looks like the handicapper has killed his chance of ever winning a race, 115 rated which was far superior to these in the race, but jumped right handed all the way round, lost approx 4L on every jump and lost by 12L, thats three bad jumps, but did it all round the circuit,so working it out lost nearly a furlong on poor jumping, jockey not to blame at all, rode him out to the line like a professional jockey should, a drop in the handicap by 4-5lb should see this win soon.

  10. Re: Salisbury 14/07 i have a friend at the course tonight, and there are big words going round for a horse in the 6.35pm, Meridian Line from the John Portman yard apparently has a buzz around the ring, finished second last time out at Windsor over a extended 5f on heavy ground, the word from the track is that the yard are optimistic of a bold run and have been advised a each way play on this tonight.. Wups Shoot the messenger on course lol

  11. Re: John Smiths Cup - Saturday

as desert dew isnt running im left with CHARLIE TOKYO' date=' 8/10 winners were drawn in stalls 1-9 so as charlie fits this it is now my each way bet at 14/1.[/quote'] Here Here, well analysed on the draw, Greek Well had every chance but 4th:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
  12. Re: Saturday EW Fancies ASCOT 14TH JULY 2007 Sony Summer Mile Stakes (Group 2) - 14.50PM Andrew Balding's yard have had a quiet spell recently, but managed to snatch a winner yesterday, so maybe the stable have come back to form, saddles the consistant Banknote here, and most definetly has a each way squeak this afternoon. was last seen when winning a Group 3 event in Germany at Baden Baden and beat Aspectus by a length over a mile on good ground, has been climbing gradually up the scale and seems to of been around for ever but is only a five yeat old and should be respected here, Franny Norton takes the ride and he has amazing stats here with older horses over the last five years, and should figure, now the price seems to reflect that this horse does not have a chance, and at around the 14/1 mark i think there is great value in this and will play each way accordingly. Suitable Ground : Good Jockey % at track : 33.00% / +£31.00 Trainer % at track : 11.00% / +£14.00 Combo % at track : 40.00% / +£12.00

  13. Re: Saturday NAPS 14/07 48th John Smith's Cup (Heritage Handicap) - 15.15PM - Nap Sir Micheal Stoute i think has shrewdly place Greek Well spot on for the John Smiths Cup, has won two on the spin with the last one coming at Sandown over an extended mile and a quarter in good ground beating Brief Goodbye by a head off a mark of 91, the prior win also came at Sandown when beating Le Soleil over the same trip by three lengths again on good ground, the worry is that he has never run on anything better than good ground, but if the tactics can be played that they get William on the front end and use his claim and stamina to go for home from the quarter mile pole this should have this in the bag as they are dropping back in trip by quarter of a mile and on this ground stamina looks the key. Suitable Ground : Good Jockey % at track : 0.00% / -£3.00 Trainer % at track : 25.00% / +£40.54 Combo % at track : 1st ride for trainer.

  14. Re: Laying Spencer Thread.

Todays rides to Lay for Mr Spencer. 14.00 Lets us Prey comes from the Neville Callaghan yard and showed promise on his debut when finishing third to Swiss Franc over the optimal trip on good to soft ground, and with being by Hawk Wing the going will not be of any problem, but is taking on serious improvers here and stepping up to 7f without being schooled to do so might leave this out in the cold. 1pt Lay @ 10's = £25.00 14.35 king of Argos is coming here off the back of a win when beating Audience by a short head at Goodwood over a mile on good ground and had Ordnance Row back in third who has won two on the bounce recently has only gone up 3lb in the Hcp and could be a dangerous play here, but the drop back in trip looks to much on the short side and could struggle to get home here 1/2pt Lay @ 11 = £12.50 16.20 Irving place from the Micheal Bell yard has got a touch of seconditis and comes here probably looking the best horse in the race besides not getting his head in front, again is another ride for spencer who has to contend with a 2f rise this afternoon, Jaimie did ride this on his debut at Nottingham when finishing second to Grand Fleet, but that has not turned out as a hot maiden and can be opposed. 1pt Lay @ 15/2 = £25.00 Well these are todays lays for Mr Spencer Opening Pot : £1828.25 Outlay : £62.50 Profit / Loss : +£59.38 Commission 5% : £3.12 Closing Pot : £1887.63 GL Wups

  15. Re: Fridays EW Fancies ~ 13/07/07 Darley July Cup (Group 1) - 15.10PM Tracey Collins has to be respected here with Dandy man, as i think this is a Group horse either today or in the making, was last seen when finishing like a train at the Royal Meeting in the King Stand and only went down by one and a quarter lengths to Miss Andretti, and had Takeover Target back in fourth a further three parts of a length and Takeover Target has come out and finished second in the Goldon Jubilee (Group 1), when going down to Soldiers Tale, who also runs today in this field, the selection was also beaten in a listed event over at Naas when going down by a length to Tax Free and Snaefell who finished in fourth that day has come out also and won a listed event, so the question here is Group 1 company to much for him, i think this horse has a engine and can use it to good effect over the 6f and will relish staying on up the hill past beaten horses, the odds reflect that this is a each way play of odds at around the 12/1 mark, has a big chance on the fast ground this afternoon the like of Sakhee Secret and Soldiers Tale and Dutch Art is definetly setting the standard, but Dandy Man deserves to take his stand here and should be there at the business end if rekindling the run in the King Stand. Suitable Ground : Good to Firm Jockey % at track : 1st Ride At Track Trainer % at track : 1st Run At Course Combo % at track : 0.00%

  17. Re: Fridays NAPS ~ 13/07/07 Weatherbys Superlative Stakes (Group 2) - 14.00PM - Nap Barry Hills has had a good strike rate this year with his 2yr old's and saddles Feared in Flight here, being by Hawk Wing the trip and ground should be no worries, was last seen when finishing third to Maze in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot, the 7th place horse in that field Scintilo has come out and demoralised a field last week, the Chesham was not the greatest of rides by Mick when making good headway and was checked and hampered at the quarter mile pole, but stayed on well to take third up to the line, the danger looks to come from Hatta Fort from the Channon yard, third to Winker Watson last time out and was making great strides in the closing stages to suggest a step up in trip will suit, the form is holding well with Swiss Franc who finished third that day,ran again second to Winker Watson yesterday, but that was a class 5 stakes at Windsor and is taking a massive hike up the ladder here to Group company, so back to the selection, lightly raced with a Listed placing and looks the one they all have to beat this afternoon. Suitable Ground : Good to Firm Jockey % at track : 25.00% / +£1.50 Trainer % at track : 13.00% / -£8.67 Combo % at track : 50.00% / +£5.50

  18. Re: Laying Spencer Thread.

Should we eat our words? due to the great ride on colwyn bay?. Why does J.S. have to have so much risky flair' date=' if he'd have lost on colwyn bay we would have been hammering him with insults again for his hold up piggot like tacticts. I still say he is a risky jockey to back with confidence.[/quote'] I never eat my words, this is a betting game, mistakes are made, but i stick on my views about the guy..6 wins from 48 rides, just over 13%, to win the title as suggested by another member at 5/4 is money in the bookies pockets come at the end of the season if he wins,..i will come on here and apologise to all whom stuck with him...but i cant back this guy no more with his shoddy tactics sitting at the back on nearly every horse he rides thinking he is the beez neez as he is cetainly not, piggott cannot be put in the same catrgory as spencer, piggott is a legend, spencer isn't
  19. Re: Thursdays NAPS ~ 12/07/07

Apache Fort drops back in grade and should go close and a nice price at 11/4
1). Rudry World - 4/1 2). Apache Fort - 11/4F 3). Gallego - 9/2 Well we were beaten by the birthday girl Sophie Doyle this afternoon, but i think Gallego should be put in the black book as a winner waiting to happen as travelled well through out and was taken wide and loss 2L, looks off a winning mark and will get in with out a penalty next time out.
