The only thing that comes to mind is that since betting is a long lasting fight and since retirement from our jobs can wait another 2-3 months :loon i suggest you bank some amount after some bets. Maybe original bank after doubled? Am i too optimistic? ( "Player" can allready do it 3 times !!! :drums ) I believe many others are regulary watching the thread even without posting. :DThanks a lot. As i've said before its nice to see some people popping in on the thread, if you have any thoughts on how I could improve things please let me know. I am very open to change!! If it wasn't for the 3 losing bets in a row I would have trebled my bank, however I don't continue to 'double' up I feel this is a more sensible staking plan... I could be totally wrong though! -

Re: Need help with data-extraction from website, for backtesting Took a look at promaches and the "simulation results" you are asking for (or anything else in this page) ( if i got it right)and : 1) Is in the members area (but can be accessed) 2) Is for ONE match. ( H2H stats ) 3) Is valid at the moment of post ( current time ) So you can only test past results if you have the program (which creates the stats), enter past results one by one , creating current stats, extracting the data etc. etc. .... If you want to extract ONLY the current - available stats - todays maches (from current list of maches to the left of the main page) and of course you are member of the site , i'm sure others with better knowledge than me may can help you. I have the feeling that it can be done.

Re: Need help with data-extraction from website, for backtesting Hi, You can simply copy - paste the data from www.betexplorer.com (any league you want) to an excel sheet and then record your moves in a macro (extracting the data). Run the same macro with data from another league. Just try it.

Re: Calculation help please. Opps, sorry. Yield = ((profit or loss) / staked)*100 i wrote the opposite :spank So total yield 81/330 = +24.54% still IMPRESIVE :ok At the amount return you should be writing the lost amounts, example :for the second bet (lost) write -30

So for the first bet is : (Staked / profit)*100 -> (40/65)*100=61.5% for the second -> (30/-30)*100= -100% .......... Total staked : 40+30+55+60+12+12+16+12+8+24+12+8+40=330 Total profit or loss = +81 So total yield so far (330/81)*100= +26.73% IMPRESSIVE :notworthy Good luck!

OK :ok Apollogies What spread will you calculate for the streak for the last game ( from -6 to -7.5) ? I understand that the most important thing is the idea behind the system and not the exact numbers ( spread from -5 to -5.5 ) (sometimes possitive changes, sometimes negative changes).
