Because recording every 0.5 sec (aprox) the odds, i have min lay odds of 2.66 for the second fav (Hard Luck Story) and not 1.65 as your matched bet. Refresh rate needs lowering for more accurate data.Why is that? -

BET 1- 20PT WIN If that comes in then ALL RETURNS on BET 2 . If that is sucessful then a small portion of the returns [ usually around 2 - 2.5 pts] is placed on a home score of 2-1 with the rest going onto BET 3 . If the main bet comes in then we BANK the winnings and return to 20pt win If 'insurance' bet of 2-1 comes in then we're back to placing returns from that on BET 1 . If both fail then we've lost 20pts from starting bank and start at BET 1 [20PTS] again. -

What do you mean by that? Good luck :okAny races i miss out just lay the fav because it is just too close to call and odds are the fav will lose thats what i do anyway -

You mean something like Massey's customs reports but creating your own ratings and test them ? Go for it :notworthyBasically you'd need to come up with a clear plan for a rating. I provide an application that covers all the basics and then you can "plug-in" the actual calculation of the rating. The result can be backtested for yourself. The rating for future races can be displayed on a webpage. Interested ? -

Re: How to create a ranking system Following logical steps: 1. Decide your max rating (eg 100) 2. Decide how mutch of this rating every criteria can take (eg form can take 60 -max- of the 100). This is maybe the most important step. 3. Decide for every criteria how will you give the points. (eg for form if the horse in the last 10 races has 8-10 wins gets 100 points (from a max of 100). This is the 60% of your final rating so since it is the max it gets 60 points. etc etc This is the maybe the second most important factor. Thinking of it again the starting point is to find what criteria are important for the ratings,then how mucth important they are and lastly how you create the rating for every criteria. If you decide to continue inform us about your "journey". Your experience will be helpfull for those of us who want to do something similar.
