  1. 14:05 Ling Mr Baloo. Have a money back for 234 of Paddy Power so hopefully a bit of protection there for anyone still offered them off Paddy. Good luck all. Edit: Just saw the prices, I see it's 2nd fav so not much of a call but just passing on what I get... 🤔
  2. Super calls again! I e/w trixied these... for pennies & fun
  3. Yes, with Livescore money back if lose (max 10) They choose a race each Saturday. Paddy Power give me the money back if 2, 3, 4 which I also take up (mx bet 5 with them)
  4. Great pick, got on board for a risk free tenner bet with LiveScoreBet (they do a risk free race every Saturday). Covered the weekend bets, thank you.
  5. I got 40s on this one too, into around the 20 mark today I see... hopefully that means something Novibet the place to be for extra places today, paying 10 in the GN!
  6. I think this is key, I wasted plenty of hours trying to get best prices any way I could. It's such a drain on time & takes away from the enjoyment in the end, for me anyway. These days I'm just happy with an ok price with extra places, gives me more to cheer about 😁
  7. My bad, really, I should have been clearer! Apologies for the confusion I caused.
  8. Edit (is exchange place only mkt) EP races can been checked here daily if any one interested: Extra Place Offers | Complete List of Today's Races
  9. Sorry yes, excellent point, should have noted that, not BOG on ep races at Sky.
  10. FYI for anyone not already aware (& it seems this way from posts over some months anyway so hopefully this is a help). Skybet pretty much always beat the market when it comes to places. Odds not always as good (but sometimes are) but you will be getting extra chances with them. Today a great example. Good place when just punting & not about outright cash value imo... get an account if not already signed up (this is not a paid endorsement by the way!). 14:20 - 7p 16:05 - 7p 16:40 - 5p 17:15 - 6p
  11. I use some sites to gauge the relationships so I know who I've signed up with, e.g.: Sister Site - The UK's Leading Casino Sister Sites Index. There are well known & clear links for some of the majors but I have found they do work independently also, e.g. Corals gubbed me after a few days, Ladbrokes didn't & I retained my promos with them once I made sure to play it straight.
  12. I'm not sure I'm an expert but I have tried the absolute hell out of it & can speak from experience I guess (there are some in this forum that know the industry inside out so can probably speak on this in way more depth than me). I guess the reason it's not discussed on PL is because this place is for punters in essence... arbing isn't punting I don't think (more trading really), probably more suitable forums about, though happy to give a few brief thoughts (apologies if all very basic & well understood by all anyway). My experience is purely from a punter-trying-to-beat-the-bookie perspective, I've never worked at/ traded for a bookie. In short: punters need to represent value to the bookie, if you can't do this, you're not worth having around. Every account is assigned a score, if you heat that score up by placing bets beyond the market all the time the time you'll show up pretty quickly & they'll jump on you. Long-story-short, if you try to beat the bookie through arbing, as in going for it to the max daily , race after race, as a punter, this will be seen within days, sometimes sooner, & your account will be shuttered because you are taking value from the bookie, i.e. you are doing what they do. Personal view, speaking from experience here, it's not actually worth it as a punter to get shuttered by the big firms coz they give the best prices & freebies tbh. Could probably get away with the odd big arb on a big football match (so there's plenty of liquidity on the exchanges) where there's been a clear misprice but you need to be quick with the lay (as there are plenty in the market trying this & the likes of Oddsmonkey have the tech to show the gaps as soon as events are priced up by the bookies) & have plenty of capital on hand.... not worth the effort as you have to be hitting the sh1t out of every gap to make anything half-decent so it's a drain on your time too. Honestly, as a punter, you are better off opening many many bookie accounts (something I was late to myself) & taking all the bet boosts & free bets on offer.
  13. Have you ever arbed? I can tell you a few things about it if that's ultimately the advice you're after.
  14. Thanks WW. Daughter's birthday today so going with your selections today for a L15 Thanks for the Antepost @Zilzalian & @WEIGHTWATCHER - bought in to Berringer & Dashing Darcy at big prices on the BF ex, managed to sell out lower so have some risk free interest there now too,. not that I'll get to watch I don't think. Many thanks, best of luck today all.
  15. Being way harsh on yourself WEIGHTWATCHER, way way harsh. I marked your picks vs a known picker who is a regular on a well known podcast, who I paid a small fee to for his picks for the month up to & through Cheltenham (wanted to see if I could save myself some hassle as usually putting in hours n hours for Cheltenham). I did 1 point for your picks, 0.5 for any forecasts. You absolutely blew him out of the water. I stopped the count the weekend before Chelts, was too busy with everything, at that point there was probably a 30 point differential between the 2 of you. You absolutely smashed him, wish I had been backing your selections 😁. Don't think there's any need to be so hard on yourself, the insights, comments/ chat etc have been great, which I think is why most of us are here (be nice to make a few quid too of course but I hope no one here is putting the house on anything, outside of maybe when Zilzalian goes 100pt win on a horse! 😂).
  16. Anyone that took these on the exchanges last night is sitting pretty now (liquidity was thin tbf). Both came in in decent measure when the money started flowing this morning & those back bets are at very sellable prices now.
  17. 2 horses I think are way overpriced on day 1,.... especially on the exchanges: Stay Away Fay & Gala Marceau. I understand that the market is not hot on these horses at all for different reasons but I really don't think historical form merits such wild prices, I actually give them a sniff & have backed both ew; Stay Far Away @28s Skybet 7places, Gala Marceau b w/o Lossiemouth @22s PP 3places.
  18. I am also on this one today
  19. Hoping for some drift from a few horses today.... Afadil might go off fav at this rate. Was holding on for BOG this morning . See what the day brings but don't think I'll be getting 12's barring a lame horse! Same on Kitaro , 8pm Chelm.... took all the money early money since last night, no looking back
  20. Going with High Court Judge South 8:00. Off a 2 week break.
  21. Love to see dedicated backers with blank days... says a lot about the picks on the good days! . Worst thing possible is to have picks the sake of it, wasted much money on this in the past, never works out... always chasing losses on bets you knew you shouldn't have taken in the first place, it's the worst.
  22. I am on Carbine also today.
  23. Wouldn't be giving up on Alex The Great, I think that was a fair call. One could say it should have been a winner, held up a few times, just couldn't get free, had great bit of pace on the run in.... will be having an ew next time out methinks.
  24. Looked beat around the bend, then strangely had plenty left over the last... strange looking ride that one, not that it matters when first past the post!
