In all the years i've been watching racing I have never ever seen anything like what i've just witnessed in the last race at Mussleburgh.
Getagin, is winning the race and is going to win and unexplainably falls just as he is getting to the finish line.
He just collapse's in a heap. It's remarkable.
Sadly when he tried to get up he seemed to struggle to make it to his legs. I really hope all is well for the connections.

We are taking a short break from the competition whilst I wrap up the results of season 2.  So in the meantime please post in here if you would like to join in the new 10 week competition, whether you are completely new to it, or rejoining from being eliminated or busting out. 
We will hopefully start weekend of 10th Feb, although we do have plenty of leeway before the end of the proper season so we could slip a further week back if I'm particularly slow sorting it all out!

We'll start the third and final LMS of the 2023/24 season with a list of weekend fixtures, instead of a Tuesday/Wednesday.

Week 10 and it's the final week of the season.  We have FA Cup games again, but mostly contested by Premier League and Championship teams so there is a near full complement of League 1&2 fixtures.  I've also included the Prem and Champ games scheduled up to Tuesday and I've kept the Scottish Championship games in this week as well as their returning Premiership games.
In the final week please don't make the same bet combination (irrespective of stake) as any other player has already posted in your Division, so you cannot preserve your position in this way.  First to post has the advantage.  Max bet is half bank unless your bank is £10 or less when you can go 'all in' if you wish.  Everyone who completes the season is automatically in next season and is allocated a new Division based on final bank total.  Any all in losers in the final week will also automatically be allocated to the bottom Division next season.
Deadline as always is 3pm on Saturday even if you are picking later starting games.  Don't miss it!

It's Cup Week and not just in the EFL, also French and Spanish.  All results are at '90 minutes' so no extra time or penalties if applicable.
No Scottish Prem for a few weeks so I'll put the Championship fixtures in instead.

We have Championship, League 1 and 2 all with a full schedule of Friday fixures but also a second round of games over New Year, so I've included both as options to give those who don't wish to post early on Friday a full schedule of games to pick from.  I've also included both sets of Scottish fixtures.  
If you are selecting any games from these Leagues please help me by being specific and quote both teams, alternatively the day, so we all clearly know which of the two possibles you want.  If you don't, I'll use the odds quoted to determine and if that can't distinguish I will take the first available game as your choice.
If you are picking a Friday/early game your deadline for your whole bet is first kick off chosen, otherwise DEADLINE IS THE USUAL 3pm SATURDAY EVEN IF ALL YOUR GAMES ARE FROM NEW YEAR.

@Balearic_Beats you need to post a valid bet this week to stay in the competition.

If I had looked sooner I may have opted to skip this week as we are a little short of games with no French, German or Spanish or possible replacements for them.  Also quite a lot of FRIDAY games so if picking from these you will obviously have to post early, so please be very careful with kick off days and times.
What I will do is have an amnesty on the 3 in a row No Show rule, however those of you who already have had 3 No Shows in total will need to post a bet to stay in the competition.

A better week of results with 28 winners and a profit for all but Division 2.  Six players make it 2 out of 2 and we have five already on double bank with @fischer21 our current leader, not far off trebled up.
